Slusher of Bell is one. Middlesboro seemed to have one, although I don't remember his name. What about the rest of them?

Jef Ledford, all district. Not the biggest guy but he gives running backs fits. Very sharp individual and is always in the right place at the right time.

Andrew Breeding will be a good one for Middlesboro. Also, Leslie will have a couple good ones returning in Timmy Baker and Ryan Howard.

Dustin May - Junior/Belfry

When he wants to be, he is as good as they come......Sky is the limit.

Fields Davis of Ashland. He will be a 3-year starter and was 2nd team all state this year as a junior.

I think Slusher of Bell will be unreal next year if the Bobcats use him correctly. This year he had to play back entirely too much due to the instability of the defensive line. At 6'4", 240 and growing, 36" vertical, and a sub 4.7 40..................I can't wait to see him blitz. The kid broke Bell's single season tackle record this year despite having his defensive linemen pushed back in his lap all season. He stayed away from basketball this season just to live in the weight room. WATCH THIS KID YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!

Josh Wills - Russell

I can't believe that Dudley didn't encourage him to go out for basketball!!

Not sure if you would consider Williamsburg as eastern Ky., but Aaron Root had a great junior year. 167 tackles, 20 for loss, 5 forced fumbles, 1st team all district, all SEKC Linebacker of the Year. From what I've heard has his bench up in the 325 lb. area now, and should have a great senior year. He is as his coach has stated a natural linebacker and a great student of the game.

Dustin May improved a great deal from week one to the end of the year. He has a good frame to build upon. With a dedicated offseason, he could be a load next season on both sides of the ball.

The Honaker twins at Pikeville. These kids have all the tools to be great, not to mention the state championship bloodline.

Pikeville will have 3 good linebackers.

OLB-Ted Honaker

MLB-John Michael Mayo

OLB-Tim Honaker

Phillip Hibbard and Jeff Ledford will be back in o6 Hibbard has the size and brute force and Ledford has the speed and heart we need to keep an eye on both of these guys.

Hibbard plays on the DL, not LB, but Ledford is the real deal.
