  1. I think it is great... It gives just about every school a chance to be on television which is a dream for most of these kids. I won't be able to catch a Cooper Varsity game this season, but will love the opportunity to see the new team and those cool new USC-ish uniforms. I can also see teams play in divisions that I rarely get a chance to see. I don't think the scope of the program is to be the biggest matchup of the week, but to spread the spotlight around and see other schools. I love the program and the coverage. Keep up the good work:thumb:
  2. Scott is going this weekend.
  3. Last years team had a small senior class. Alot of younger guys got alot of playing time and they started to finally come together towards the end of the season. The next couple of years Scott should be in much better shape.
  4. I hope someone can get us some pictures...
  5. Is Cooper going to 5A or staying in 6A?
  6. Coach Fisk will be the offensive line coach.
  7. Things seem to be going well. Renovations are on going. New ceilings and lights have been installed in the field house. More work still to be done this summer. Numbers are roughly where they were last year. Not alot of seniors, but a good class of sophomores and juniors coming up. New coaching staff is working hard to install their system. New coaches seem to be energetic and hard working. Kids seem to be responding well to Coach Campbell.
  8. Not sure. Might be a promotion for him if he becomes the defensive coordinator.
  9. I believe that Clint Bell will be running the defense.
  10. Coach Moser will be staying at Scott to help with the offense and will not be going to Brossart as the article states. I have heard that Coach Rinehart does have a couple of commitments lined up to be assistants, but is currently looking for more. Any qualified interested candidates that are looking for work, this may be a great opportunity for you...
  11. Congratulations to Matt and the Brossart family! Remeber, get to work 'Quickly! Quickly!'...
  12. I heard the new coach was hired this afternoon. I spoke to the new coach and he is ready and anxious for the opportunity to get started. I don't know if I'm allowed to release who it is yet, but it should be public very soon...
  13. Holmes was at the passing league at Campbell County Tuesday night vs. NCC, Campbell Cty, & Scott.
  14. I didn't know that about the coaching staff. Probably a good move. I do think the game is at Dixie, unless things have changed since reported last month since this article came out: http://frontier.cincinnati.com/blogs/preps/2008/05/northern-kentucky-football-all-star.asp
  15. It won't be at Scott. I have heard that they traded away their turn in the rotation for a turn in 2011(?). Not sure the reason why if it was due to field or new coaching staff or what.
  16. Good news, we definitely don't want to lose Coach Carr.
  17. Randy Borchers from Ludlow is their Varsity Head Coach. From what I understand, his staff is now being formed and they are meeting with incoming students. Their facilities aren't complete yet, but they are lifting at an area YMCA. It is a beautiful new school...
  18. Within 10 years every field in NKY that has varsity football will be artificial turf.
  19. I'm sorry if I offended the Borcher's fan club. I am sure he is a great coach. I've never seen it, but I'll take your word for it. If he ever wins more than 4 games in a season I promise to be there cheering and being all emotional with the rest of you guys. I promise the next time I'm in Ludlow I will stop and salute the Borcher statue that graces the middle of the town square. I will look in awe next time I'm at Ludlow stadium and see all the banners from what they lovingly call 'the Borchers era'. I will look down my nose at schools that I consider not good enough for me to grace. I will apply for jobs, accept them, and then quit the next day. When they ask me why, I will remind them that that's what all great men do. So consider me a convert. I'm a disciple. I've drank the Kool Aid. I'm one of you guys now. So let's all go to Cooper! We will get ran over by Boone County this week, Ryle the next, and hopefully stay with 4 touchdowns of Simon Kenton the week after that. In three years when they fire us for not winning any games we will take our fight somewhere else. We know who the great coach is, who cares what the scoreboard says! Once again, I sincerely apologize to all of you.
  20. Some schools have their schedules on the web sites of the schools. I just saw SK's posted...
  21. If the school does have a track record of this behaviour as you have said, why would you openly pursue a position there? I think that researching a job you are going to put in for would be a wise step before you waste anybody's time.
  22. I have changed my mind on what I want for lunch. I have changed my mind on what shirt I am going to wear to work. So, In those cases I have changed my mind. I have never put in for a job, went through multiple interviews over a month long period, accepted the job, went to the media to discuss it, and then decide the next day to change my mind.
  23. Promises were made and revoked in a 24 hour period? What were the promises?
  24. The animosity comes from the coach applying for the job, interviewing for the job, accepting the job, getting big stories in the Post & Enquirer about his big plans for fixing things, and then calls up the next day and says 'no thanks'. If he didn't want the job it probably would have been best to not apply, not interview, not accept, and not publicly pose and then change his mind the next day. It was quite an embarassment for the school and the coach.
  25. Is Borchers still coach at Cooper? I thought he would have quit by now...
