Will any of the old Scott assistant coaches be coming back?

Hope for another good game this year. Last years was great down in Latonia. This is Senior Night. Big night to honor Jordan Adkins, Ryan Bianchi, and Aaron Brown. A win would be a great way to cap off their high school basketball years. I am taking the Eagles +2...

Good luck to Coach Campbell. I wish him well...

The Enquirer is reporting that Ken Mueller will have a press conference on Wednesday morning to name the new head coach... http://frontier.cincinnati.com/blogs/preps/2008/02/scott-football-position.asp

Last fall it was probably in the best shape it has ever been in. At the end of the season it was still in fairly good shape. I would think that by May and June it will be in excellent shape. The location is a revolving deal. Scott hosted it in late '90's and I think it is just their turn again.

Patience. Please tell us something about the new coach. Would like to know something about his background, philosphy, etc...

I've heard that it will be at Scott High School this year...

I agree that Coach Fisk was by far the better pick of the two... Speaking of '05: The hiring process took over three months. They narrowed it down, hired their man, had a press conference, the guy got a big write up in the local papers. The next day he calls them up and declines. Very puplicly, Fisk is announced as the second pick. Talk about starting out with a thud and not having any momentum. Fisk got the job in late February late getting a staff organized, a weight program going. Less than three years later and the best record the school has had in 17 years he is dumped... I do think it was a fiasco. I think his being let go was a fiasco. Want to know a bigger fiasco? This poor new coach coming in here with big plans and facing the monstrous task of turning around this program. After about 3 or 4 years of little support from the school. Low numbers coming out for the team. Little community support. Little parental involvement. Getting humiliated every other Friday night by the likes of Highlands, Cov Cath, and Dixie. This poor coach will leave in disgust like so many others in the last 30 years have... Then we will go through this whole process again. Gray, Heidorn, McCarthy, Riegler, Fisk. All good men. I'm sure they could tell you what a fiasco it all is... I really hope that I am wrong about the new guy and things go well and they do turn things around. Unfortunately, we've seen it all before...

I heard that it is all supposed to be official this week. Expect an announcement on Tuesday or Wednesday...

Somebody told me at the game last night that they were going to re-schedule the Scott v. Dixie game next Saturday night. I didn't see it on the official list. Can anyone confirm?

I didn't see it... Why did the police refs stop the game and have the gentleman sitting court side escorted from the building?

Wow. Great game, Great crowd, lost of energy, and oh yeah... EAGLES WIN!!!:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa

Neither team is having that great of a year. I'm sure that hurts a little. The game last month between the two was pretty well attended. I love the rivalry between the two student sections...

Three months now and still no announced coach. Numbers in the weight room are dwindling. Spring ball is not too far away. Scott also hosts and the coaching staff will do the East West All Star game early this summer. IMO, the administration dragging their feet on this is dooming any chance this team has to be competitive in '08.

I'm hoping for a big rowdy crowd. I'm hoping for a big Eagle victory. Scott wins in a squeaker +2...

I think after the fiasco they had with the hiring process in '05 they don't want to look stupid again.

Wow! Incredible news. Good luck at Louisville!!

Is this ever going to be official?

What subject does he teach?

I was suprosed Scott kept it that close for that long. When Holmes started hitting the 3's in the third quarter it was all over. Must agree that the dunk you are talking about was the highlight of the evening...

Is he going to be a teacher at Scott as well?

Does anybody know anything about the new head coach?

I think tucked in is a sign of neatness and respect.

Who is next in line if the top applicant decides to pass?
