Holmes had a few coaching positions listed recently. Have these positions been filled?

Tiger1, I would agree with your top 3, but I might flip Brossart and Scott, or at least make them even...

Congrats to Mason County!:dancingpa

:thumb:Much agreed on both points. I wish both men best of luck!

Road Trip!

Congrats to Mason County! Represent the 10th well...

Neither. I made a mistake. I spoke with Coach Simpson and he told me he was still searching. I thought a potential prospect was a 'done deal'. Unfortunately, it wasn't. My mistake...

Spoke to soon about Coach Simpson. He hasn't officially signed with anybody yet. My mistake, I apologize...

Congrats to Montgomery County. Make sure to give Mason all they can handle. Also, congrats to my Scott Eagles. You guys played hard and tough when it counted the most!

I just don't know if Dave or the new school has officially released this info yet.

Coach Simpson has already been hired by another NKY school. I don't know if I can say which one it is, but it is a state powerhouse and they are in Scott's conference...

He was interviewing for the varsity defensive back coach position and they decided to go with someone else. He worked the weight room for 4 months for free until the new coach came in and hired someone else for the job...

I just heard word that Coach Dave Simpson will not be returning with the Eagles in 2008...

I REALLY don't like the fact that the Scott / Montgomery County game is at 8:30. Not very good for a school night and some kids that will be on buses for about two hours on the way home...

I'm going to predict that Scott wins on a last second shot and wins by +1...

Are there any official contingency plans for postponing due to weather this weekend?

Congrats to the Eagles!:dancingpa

Fairly even matchup. I will give Scott the edge because they seem to have a little momentum going and are starting to believe in themselves. Scott +2...

...back to the game. Congrats to Coach Carr and the Scott Eagles!:dancingpa I am so happy for Jordan Adkins. Great kid from a great family. Happy to see him hit the story book shot in the championship game!

Good news. Congrats to him and we get to keep him in the area.

I love your game recaps! I wish all games had a summary like this. Great work!!!

Great game by both teams. Both are young and fairly evenly match. Should make for a great rivalry next year too... Congrats to the Eagles!

I love Mason County's facilities and have no problem with them hosting on a regular basis. I do think it is a bit of a problem and a great distance for Campbell County, Bishop Brossart, or Scott to have to travel every year. Montgomery County is even more of a task to travel to...

Tough night for the Eagles. Hate to see the season and tonight go this way for the seniors...

Lots of NKYer's make the commute to Georgetown on a daily basis to work at Toyota. It's not that bad of a drive. I do think his entire coaching salary will go towards the gasoline bill though...
