Aug 29th Cooper @ Conner **Understand first Cooper game ever

Sep 5 Ryle @ Cooper **Why? This game will be a blowout

Sep 6 Holmes @ Holy Cross ** Great local match up

Sep 12 SK @ Conner ** Why? CC vs Boone would be a much better game

Sep 19 Highlands @ Dixie ** Good game to watch

Sep 26 Beechwood @ Ludlow ** Not CovCath vs HHS?

October 3rd Grant Co @ Scott ** If you must

Oct 10 Boone Co at Simon Kenton ** Great game

Oct 17 Russell @ Simon Kenton ** Why not two local teams Cov HC vs. Beechwood

Oct 24 Newport @ Holy Cross ** Why not Boone vs Ryle

Oct 31 Holmes @ Lloyd ** Another if you must

Nov 7 Campbell Co @ Dixie ** Could be a great game

Nov 8 St X @ Cov Cath ** Another good game to watch

Gt,

Love that you do the games each week and you and your guy's do a great job, but why some of these games? Not showing the Boone vs. Ryle game, or the CovCath vs. Highlands game just doesn't make sense to me unless someone else is doing those game live. Please understand that I love watching the games you do, but....What goes into picking the Beechwood vs. Ludlow over the CovCath vs. HHS game or for that matter the doing the Newport vs Cov HC instead of the Boone vs Ryle game.

We take the Insight games out, and then have some obligations to cover as many schools as possible in our member cities while trying to sprinkle in highly anticipated games as much as possible. I don't have the Insight list in front of me but I'm positive they are doing Boone/Ryle and almost positive they are doing CCH/HHS. The September 5th game is the first game at Cooper, and they requested us to be there...

Just what I want to watch the 1st 2 weeks of the season, Cooper getting clobbered by Conner and then Ryle.

Don't watch. We were asked to get them some air time, and those were the weeks that fit best...

I think it is great... It gives just about every school a chance to be on television which is a dream for most of these kids. I won't be able to catch a Cooper Varsity game this season, but will love the opportunity to see the new team and those cool new USC-ish uniforms. I can also see teams play in divisions that I rarely get a chance to see. I don't think the scope of the program is to be the biggest matchup of the week, but to spread the spotlight around and see other schools.

I love the program and the coverage. Keep up the good work:thumb:

Thanks. That's why we do it. We aren't bound to sponsor money, but instead are funded by the cities and counties. They deserve some love too...

:confused:By who? And the 1st 2 games of the season?

Always got all the answers it appears Mr gt. I guess 65,000 plus posts might do thatfor a guy..;)

I think the above is the key differentiator. I can understand why the Enquirer goes where they go. They sell ads and ads need eyeballs. CPC is publicly funded so those supplying the funds should get a chance to see their team. Impossible to get every team on but this type of channel's mission is to cast a wide net.

I saw in the paper this morning that CCH/Beechwood and Ryle/Conner is being carried by FoxSports.

I agree, and what gives Cooper the right to have 2 games this season?

How about the Dayton vs. Bellevue game. Oldest rivalry in NKY and one that I am sure some folks who live in Kenton and Boone Co wouldnt mind catching.

Watching Beechwood beat Ludlow 55-8 will be a snoozer IMO.

SK is on there 3 times. HO HUm....

Stipulation #1. There has to be one of our member city teams in a game. Period. Want Dayton/Bellevue take it up with Insight.

You guys crack me up sometimes...
