I don't know about a lot of kids in the state but Jr. RB Josh conner had a great first game. He had 19 carries for 227 yds & 5 TD for Highlands vs. Ryle

You may be correct but I think they they may have given him Hurtts TD.

If i remember correctly, Josh did return a kickoff for a td & was also caught at the 1. He also threw a pass for a td, if memory serves me.I think he had about 400 all purpose yds.

I was at an AAU tourney over the weekend & the shooting wasn't bad. I saw the u14 team of Cutter Hoopsters loose in the state championship game 97-88. I didn't the shooting was bad but there wasn't defense either. They lost to the Louisville Sting who they had beaten earlier in pool play. Great game by both teams.

From what i remember about about Jim Hyder, he was a baseball player at Georgetown but also coached football and baseball at Npt. since the early 80"s so I think it"s about time Npt. gives him a chance. Great guy and great with with kids.

Hanover is a great school. Only about 1000 students. Great education & a pretty darn good football program.

Doesn't that field flood really bad a couple times a year? .I'm not sure turf would work in that location unless they they took care of the flooding problen and i'm sure that would be expensive.

You're making this sound alot worse than it is. As long as the player is upfront about it and the coach is ok with it, I don't see the problem.

Boom,Agreed he has the tools & is in the right system but i've watched this kid since his peewee days and IMO, he is a special talent.This should be his breakout year.I know there is a lot of talent in the RB corp, but lets just hope for the best for this young man.
