No surprise here. Looks as if the 61st district made the right decision in replacing Morgan with Fleming County.....a much stronger district now.

Morgan has little to no offense. Fleming not much better. Game could go either way, depending on bounce of ball. Morgan by 3 in this one.....definitely not one of your more exciting games to watch.

My prediction of 29 wasn't too far off. btw....It may be years in the future before Morgan ever sees a regional tourney again after moving to the 62nd district. Just my opinion.

What happened to the Trusty guy at Morgan?? Could his absence from the bench be a factor in the Cougars dismal performances this season? I remember a year or so ago he was being touted as possible head coach material in the region. Anyone with info on him?

This one will get ugly real quick. No love lost between these two schools. Elliott by 15 at the half.....27 by game's end.

Wasn't the game tied at 16 at halftime?? Russell shot 70% in the second half. Cougars had no answer for Vanhoose......or anyone else who wanted to score.

Very seriously doubt Rowan beating Raceland at this point in the season. They'd have to play one of their better games to pull it off.

I've posted about Antonio Owens 3 or 4 times and until this post was more than complimentary, even touting him as POY in region. I merely expressed an opinion that would be hard to argue. Good luck to Antonio but one must admit that dropping out of school in an effort to attend a prep school is odd. Will this situation sour Boyd County on Ramey-Estep kids?

When someone drops the ball on Friday grade checking or a person drops out when the season is over. Hard to imagine a student making the grade for 3 grading periods and then throwing in the towel. Some suggested that he had a plan of gaining an extra year at a prep school but why would a person saddle himself with the baggage of dropping out. A lot of negative perception is sure to follow. Personal opinion...he was at Boyd for basketball and left when it was over, someone poined out later that he could attend a prep school and that became his plan.
