I heard this on Go Radio this morning! He wants to concentrate and focus on Baseball! Good Luck to Coach Stan McGlone he is a class act!

What did he coach?

In this thread, I am assuming boys basketball.

This is a suprise . who will they get to replace him...in house, or ????

McGlone was the head boy's varsity basketball coach and he will be remaining the varsity baseball coach at West Carter!

First of all, thanks for listening Blue Blazer

Coach McGlone is a class act, a great guy and I really appreciate his hard work he put into the Comet program.

As far as a replacement, I have heard a couple of names mentioned, one is assistant coach Scott Tackett and the other is Jeremy Webb (whose father Jim was the head coach at West for many years).

Not sure who they will hire or when the process will get started, but AD Brian Brown told me that they want to act very soon so the summer program can go on without a delay.

I hear Jeremy Webb is the frontrunner.

There are alot of good coaches around. Might not hurt to look around

It appears that both Carter County schools prefer to hire form within the county
