  1. Congratulations to Breathitt Co., sounds like a defensive struggle.
  2. Congratulations to Marion Co., it's been a tough season for the Titans.
  3. Congratulations to Bell County on an impressive win.
  4. Boyle 28 Lafayette 13 Boyle Co. remaining schedule will be a test. Opponents combined record is 19-9. The Rebels need to stay focused, take one game at a time. Don't look ahead to anybody, leave that part to the fans.
  5. If Danville doesn't turn it around, this season will be a scratch on Coach Harps overall record.
  6. Highlands is #1 without a doubt. Boyle County is looking pretty good, but I will say Highlands is the #1 team in the state, regardless of class.
  7. Thanks for the stats. Slow start but finished strong. Good job Rebels. You know, I was looking at my program last night and realized since 1999 Boyle County has won 125 and lost 20, went to 6 consecutive State Championship games and won 5 of those.. 13 of the losses were in 2 seasos under Chris Pardue. That's pretty impressive. That makes 8 out of the last 11 over the Ads, and to think we went 17 consecutive years without beating them. Don't hang your heads Ads, I see a much brighter future. You guys are just really young, and you ran into a buzz saw tonight. We got Lafayette next week for Homecoming. Go BC !!!!!!!!!!
  8. I didn't realistically expect them to build anything for this years game, nor was I making that request. I'm sorry if it sounded that way., but maybe by next years Pigskin Classic, if we are invited back. If not, by the next time Danville will be hosting Boyle County in 2011.
  9. Where you sitting in a chair at the time, just being able to stand and watch would be much better than sitting. Once the teams get past the fifty then you can hardly make out where on the field they are, At this point your only hope is a good scoreboard keeper and a good announcer. I have sent an email to Larry Vaught (sports editor of The Advocate Messenger" he forwrded the email to Sam Harp and the Principal. Reply as follows. From Chuck Stallard (Director ofPupil Personnel, Transportation and Facilities) I received your e-mail to Larry Vaught regarding wheelchair accessibility at Admiral Stadium. We are in the process of seeking guidance from KY ADA so we can address your concerns in an appropriate manner. I would like to offer you a parking spot on the south end of the stadium where you can view the game from you vehicle. This area is elevated and has a full view of the playing area. If you would like to consider this area, I will be glad to reserve the spot.
  10. The Lexington Catholic win last season at Catholic, puts that saying to rest.
  11. I've said it before but i'm going to say it again, maybe someone with authority (Coach/AD Sam Harp) will move on this issue and quit dragging their feet. I just can't believe they don't have a designated wheelchair accessible spot. I usually sit on the hill on soccer field end, but now you have extended the fence all the way down around the soccer complex and I can't even get up there to be able to see. Now, I am FORCED to sit ON the track, not standing, but sitting in my wheelchair, I won't be able to see anything. Now how hard would it be for you to build a 16x16 platform/deck about 6 feet off the ground even if its off to the side of the stands. One should be built on both the home side, and visitors. I would say with the labor being done by volunteers or your shop class, that would be a great project for them, this could easily be built for $1500 each, Lowe's or 84 Lumber may even donate the lumber if you allow them to advertise there name somewhere on it. Now, if you can afford to extend that fence at the top of the hill that far, surely you can afford this modification. I don't care if the place WAS built in 1974 and grandfathered in prior to the ADA being passed I think in 1994. Come on Sam Harp and Chuck stallard, you guys are better than this aren't you, or are you just inconsiderate.
