Nice win for the Hounds against a very good Hazard ball club on a dreary night at Campbell field.

Congratulations to the Redhounds.

I listened to the radio tonight after work and it said that Watkins only got about 4 carries in the first half but ran wild after the break. If so, that is even more impressive for the Redhounds. Any particulars of this game would be great to hear.

Corbin played a very good game.We got scored on pretty quick. Then the defense woke up and shut them down rest of the game.Offense played solid.Backs ran hard Fritts ran like last year.Watkins and Taylor had great game. The O-line was great that group of young men goes in to every game being out weighed by 60 to 70 lbs.Morris , Luwellen , Howington , Mills great job in the trenches.Manns caught td pass you had to see it to appreicate it he was determined to score. And once again the defense was solid.Goforth got the start on D-line line and did his job.It was a muddy game.Great job coaching staff the team was ready to play a very good team.GO HOUNDS

Corbin did alot of good things tonight, playing through adverse conditions to beat a VERY solid Hazard squad. The game could have went either way, but Corbin got a few breaks early and cashed in on some Hazard mistakes. The fumble by Combs, and the pass interferance on Olinger were 2 pivital plays that kept Hazard from scoring, and set up the TD from a very determined Aaron Manns.

Caleb Watkins took a punt return to the house, and Fritts and Taylor played well. O Line did a good job, but the lack of traction made it very tough to stay with blocks.

Willard Farris smoked Hazards staff on that double reverse pass. There was no one home in Hazards secondary. Best call made all night.

I would like to see these two hooked up on a dry field, it would be a good game for sure.

Best of luck to the Hazard Bulldogs this season, I think they will make alot of noise in 1A this year.

A solid win for Corbin over a good Hazard team. I'm sure the field conditions hurt Hazard's passing game, but the Hound's defense played well, Reed did a very good job filling in at the CB spot playing for the injured Sowders. Watkins seemed to gain 10-15 yards virtually every time he carried the ball, all the backs ran and blocked well last night. Lastly as someone else already stated, you have to credit both lines for Corbin who are undersized in spots, but play extremely hard each time out.

Manns is a great kid and is a solid TE and DE for the Hounds. I can't wait to see the video on Manns' TD. He is a load to bring down.

This Corbin team seems to have improved a ton from the gridorama. They sould easily win their district.

Maybe they will start looking for him more when they get in the red zone.

I doubt it, but stranger things have happened. No doubt he is a load when he catches it. He could be a weapon if used three to five times a game.
