Raceland/Russell Predictions
Sorry Doc..I was just bringing in a "prediction" from another unbiased source which has been fairly accurate all season long - but you know that I am pulling for the RAMs to take Russell by surprise. I predict a shoot-out with Rams over Russell 35-28. Mark it down!

Fairview @ Lexington Christian Academy
For what t is worth...Massey predicts LCA to win 32-22 and Massey has LCA rated #72 and Fairview at #102; Schedule strengths of LCA 115 and FV 199... Also, Massey predicted LCA over Raceland last week by 38-22 score and it was 38-26...hopefully Massey is correct again this week!

Lexington Christian Academy 38 Raceland 26
Yeah - thanks for all that data Bluto! Where on earth do get all those stats from anyway? As I predicted in the pre-game thread - Turnovers and Special Teams play will be the difference in this game and it was. The only equalizer to the Turnover problem of Raceland was LCA's Mental Mistakes (aka PENALTIES) which kept Raceland in the game throughout...I did not think the officiating was bad at all - LCA was bad and had silly/stupid mental breakdowns. LCA's special teams performed well - not stellar - but well - especially after they realized Raceland was going to kick On-side kicks everytime (no kicker) - I think that had some impact (both ways) because Raceland did recover one of them for a huge momentum changer in the 2nd Qtr and LCA (after they figured it out) had some great returns and field position on a couple of them. Raceland has a good team and are VERY WELL coached - they will make some noise in the playoffs - wait and see. And as always and as expected - the LCA fans, coaches, players and Media/Stats people were treated so well by the awesome HOSPITALITY and RESPECT of the Raceland Program!!! I will miss coming to that venue since LCA is moving to 2A next year - what a great bunch of fans/people/community in Raceland - I cannot say enough good things about them.

Lexington Christian Academy/Raceland Predictions
Yes - lots of fumbles - not INTs...which is why I think it will determine the outcome of the game...Raceland HITS hard and has great fundamental Tackling - gang tackling...worries me personally. and BTW - I STAT - no kid playing -my son graduated years ago - he is actually in Afghanistan - a Marine now - so I call em like I see em!

Lexington Christian Academy/Raceland Predictions
West is overrated...but he is a good Offensive player - good technique and decent work ethic and great attitude. Special Teams gets leveled out due to Home Field advantage - so we agree now to Turnovers wins this game!

Lexington Christian Academy/Raceland Predictions
Fair enough - but like i said before - turnovers and Special Teams will be the difference in this game - so whoever wins those stats - wins this game --- IMO.

Lexington Christian Academy/Raceland Predictions
This is a first - the Raceland boys have been quiet for more than 24 hours! They must have something up their sleeves for LCA this week OR they are still licking their wounds from the Fairview game last week. I suspect the former rather than the latter. Are you Ram-fans ok?
-
Lexington Christian Academy/Raceland Predictions
Ram - I will be there around 7pm as I run the Stats for LCA - so be sure to come up to the pressbox and have 2 hot-n-juicy RAM-burgers delivered to me! LOL Look me up - this should be a great HS Football game to watch!

Lexington Christian Academy/Raceland Predictions
I believe Turnovers and Special Teams will determine the outcome of this game - as both teams have had issues (positive and negative) with these two areas of the game thus far. I think they match up very well with each other and this will be a very close game and very fun to watch- not to mention the AWESOME environment that Raceland sets up at their Home games - if anyone has not ever been to a Raceland Home Football game - do yourself a favor and attend a game to see how HS Football was meant to be played and how Fans are supposed to behave in supporting their team - from the Ram-burgers, smoke-filled air, Firetrucks, Fans lined up at both endzones, loud and raucous crowd (in a positive way)...it just doesnt get any better than this for Friday night Football. I hate the drive - but love the experience everytime we have played at Raceland. I say this every year - but every year - I get just as excited to attend the game when we go there - sorry to souund like an old worn-out record - but what they do in Raceland should be the "standard" for all HS Football venues - and they take pride in being great hosts and they still PRAY before the games as well!

Breathitt County/Hazard Predictions
Based upon strength of schedule of each team, I will predict BC over Hazard 35-21. Hazards opponents thus far have a combined record of 8-19 whereas BC's has a 21-13 record. JMO...

Lexington Christian 30 Breathitt County 15
LCA's offense is fine - they are improving each week - it is a "process" and doesnt really matter until District play and then Play-Offs. McCamy's stats are mis-leading as the receivers have dropped at least 20 passes in the past 3 games alone - he is throwing the ball very well and running it even better. Many opponents will think that Lucas Witt is back - just wearing #13 this year. I was actually amazed at what I witnessed last Friday in Breathitt County! first, by the win for the Eagles and second by the poor referee calls during the game - the score could have been much worse without some very poor calls - The Eagles overcame the adversity in a hostile environment. Will Thomas Collins #7 for Breathitt and ex-LCA player from last year's State Championship team had 16.5 tackles at MLB and never left the field the entire game! We sure do miss that kid!!!!!

Lexington Christian 20 Christian Academy Louisville 14 (OT)
CAL had 5 turnovers and 3 of them were inside the LCA 10 YL - ready to score and lose the ball - tough to win with that kind of ball control or lack thereof... LCA had 1 turnover.
-
Christ Pres. Academy, TN 20 Lex. Christian 12
CPA may be the best team LCA plays all year...if they had a REAL strong RB - other than their QB - they would be unstoppable. The QB made a couple of bad decisions - not even under much pressure - and threw 2 INT's - other than that, he played very well...nice ball club and well-coached too - huge WR's - 6'3", 6'4" & 6'5"...

Who is this year's Mr. Football winner?
I am looking for PROOF of this Statement...as in show me WHERE it states it is a Single Season versus a CAREER? You make the statement - now justify your source.
