  1. RF04 - That Avatar is quite becoming and looks great on you! Perhaps you should consider just staying in Lexington this weekend to continue to root the Eagles on?
  2. If it were "hush hush" as you say, then why are you posting it on here for everyone to read? LOL HHHmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  3. Raceland Fans - We have a tradition at LCA to invite all parents/fans from both teams to have a prayer session at 7:10pm on the track at the North end (Parking lot end - opposite the Scoreboard). All parents/fans from both teams join hands and have prayer for safety/health/no injuries/Glory to God/Bluto's singing/anything else folks can think of...it is a good time to meet and fellowship and to ground ourselves as fans - to what is really important in all of the world. Please let your folks know ahead of time and to listen for the PA Announcement as we do announce it several times in order to get as many folks involved as possible. Thanks for passing the word.
  4. Hey Doc - we are glad that you are not serving Eagle Thursday night!
  5. WJMM 99.1FM carries all LCA Football games - Hopefully you can get it down in Danville...
  6. Special message for ALL Attendees of this game: Please bring EAR-PLUGS as Bluto has agreed to sing the National Anthem before the game!!!!! LOL Actually, he is a professional and sounds awesome - but I figured we could have some fun at his expense... Let it begin...
  7. Hey Raceland fans: Please let me know if you are aware of any of your fans who might need some assistance in getting from our Parking area to the bleachers - we will have Golf Carts helping those folks in need and do this as a courtesy to show God's love to our brothers/sisters in Christ. Old Rambler - I am still praying for you and I will personally pick you up from your car and have special seating if you are up to it - I hope you can make it but we understand if you cant - but your "spirit" will be preached into your team - I am sure of that! Thanks Ram fans - you all are fearsome and respected opponents and we want you to feel welcome to Lexington & LCA.
  8. And if LCA wins, Coach Rains will shave his head...oh wait - he already has - must be a GOOD SIGN for LCA! LOL Sidelinedoc - please check your PM that I sent you...thanks
  9. Yeah - I understood it - I was just joshing with him! LOL Just having some fun...you guys are way too serious about this stuff - let the kids play the game - and hang up your jockstraps - they really dont fit that great anymore - and thats a good thing! LOL hehehehe
  10. RAM Fan - it doesnt really matter...your fans dont get to play the game anyway - so no problem either way.
  11. Really? Then how is it that Hayden now owns and has destroyed 3 KHSAA CAREER Records which used to be held by previous Mr. Football award winners/candidates across KY? Career Rushing TDs - now has 114 (broke Derek Homer/Ft. Knox of110 '93-96) Career TD's - now has 132 (broke Kelvin Turner/Danville of 116 '01-04) Career Points Scored - now has 801 (broke H.Phelps/Old KyHome of 722 '61-63) i would suggest this is worthy of on the field success over time.
  12. And Hayden @ LCA has had a Successful Career with this YEAR being his BEST YEAR of the 4 so far...so his name deserves to be on the "short list" and it is. The problem with a "Mr. Football" award is that it is an "individual" recognition in a TEAM SPORT...I think alot of the % o fthe decision process should consider the succes of the Team the athlete is on as well as the individual performances/stats...having said that, you really have to look strongly at Simpson, Miles, Hayden & Andrews as those are great teams playing well together with historical success as well as 2009 success.
  13. I agree - most of these players only played 1/2 the games due to blowouts...
  14. And...Caleb Watkins is one of the the classiest, humble and flat out nicest kids in KY HS Football too! He is a Christian FIRST and gives all the glory to God. Just like Domonique Hayden - another extremely humble yet gifted athletes in KY Football. We need to give alot of credit to KY HS Coaches because these men spend more time with the players than most of the parents - and their influence is far-reaching and long-lasting in the lives of the players. This is why you will see the successful programs are being led by Christian men who understand their roles in the lives of the players. Caleb deswerves this recognition as well!
  15. And sometimes that juice is poisonous - ask Jim Jones followers! LOL LCA kids are very well coached and are thinking about execution of the gameplan ONLY - I believe they looked past Hazard last year because they beat them previously 49-7 (or something like that) - these kids understand what is needed to get the job done THIS WEEK...
  16. Add 44 TD's to Hayden of LCA as well as these NEW STATE RECORDS: Career Rushing TDs - now @ 114 TD's (110 for D.Homer/FtKnow 93-96) Career Scoring TD's- now @ 132 TD's (116 for K.Turner/Danville 01-04) Career Points Scored - now at 801 points (722 for H.Phelps/OldKyHome 61-63) And he is not done yet! The kid is a beast, regardless of what Class of Football he is playing in - Squats 620, Benches 365, Cleans 345 and runs a legit 4.5 Forty! A strong candidate without a doubt - and he is honored to be named with these other extremely talented players and to be on the list for consideration.
  17. As Beechwood has always clearly stated, play strong teams during the season (Non District teams) to help prepare your team for the Playoffs: Of Raceland's 6 non-District Regular Season games, 5 of those teams made the playoffs (E.Carter did not - but Boyd Co, Ashland-Blazer, Fleming Co, Greenup Co & Russell did) - well done! However, of those 5 teams who made the playoffs, 0 made it past the first round. Of LCA's 6 non-District Regular Season games, 5 of those teams made the playoffs (TN team did not - but CAL, LynnCamp, BreathittCo, LexCath & Corbin did) - also good scheduling! Of those 5 teams, 4 made it to the 2nd round (LynnCamp got beat in round 1 by Raceland); and of those 4 teams, 3 are playing again this week in the 3rd round (CAL got beat by NCC - LexCath, Breathitt & Corbin all play this week). This means absolutely NOTHING in this weeks game because both teams are here and will be ready to play - but I woke up early this fine Sunday morning and felt like analyzing something before church! LOL Take it with a grain of salt - but it is fun to just hope & pray that our teams are prepared for battle based upon History - including this years history as well - not just last year or 2007.
  18. you are correct - and LCA has some players who remember all of that history as well and want this game just as badly as the Raceland players. this game will come down to execution and resolve...should be another great HS football game and we only hope we can create 1/2 the atmosphere that we experience when we travel to Raceland! You guys are awesome fans and terrific opponents and a great team with excellent coaches...LCA has nothing but respect for the Raceland program.
  19. All RAM fans: We pray for Safe Travels and no injuries for either team. You guys are some of the most passionate and reliable fans in HS football and I truly appreciate your tenacity and the support you all show your players/coaches/community! Good luck and it sounds like you will have a very competitive and fun game to watch. Hope to see you next week at LCA - assuming we both take care of business tonight! The Hensley Rating System (see thread) predicts RHS to in by 0.75 points!! Enjoy the game - as we all know you will regardless of outcome - as you always are faithful to the integrity of the game by being honorable - win or lose!
  20. RiverDog...I think you are correct on your prediction. But...that Avatar is just downright SCARING ME!!!! LOL
  21. Actually RAM, you are correct! I just pulled the Roster from the KHSAA website and here it is: 10 10 Aaron Schwoebel 6' 6" 205 QB DB Sr.
  22. Which is it 6'8" or 6'4"? It has been stated as both???
