Speaking of polls...it appears to me that LCA is the over-whelming UNDER-DOG in this game based upon the following: Raceland is above LCA in every poll available including the BGP poll at the top oif this thread. Litkenhous, AP and Cantrall all have Raceland above LCA so the BGP'ers must be at least as smart as those guys! right!??:jump: I sure hope LCA can overcome this under-dog status and pull this one out. :ylsuper:

Reminds me of local comedian-country-boy Carl Hurley in speaking of his HS football days...he said they had to travel to Eastern Ky to play and they suspected these kids were older than your typical HS players - and then he knew there was something up when upon the opening kick-off he is chasing the ball carrier down the opponents sidelines and he hears this 6 year-old yelling to the ball-carrier "Run Daddy! Run!" hehehe!

yep - Bluto and I have already had a very good laugh over this tonight!:laugh: By the way - for the record, and I just replied via email to someone from Raceland ensuring our football field was located where our school is, but I had to also tell him that I truly think the Raceland folks are some of the finest and most honorable people I have dealt with...It has been a real blessing and pleasure to correspond with such fine people! :thumb: I appreciate your zeal and your enthusiasm for your team and it really seems your hearts are ALL in the right place. Your community should be proud to have you guys represent it! Good luck and safe travels to Lexington! I look forward to meeting many of you in person this Friday night...and after that we ALL root for the other onto defeating NKY and beyond!

The field is BROWN bermuda and is in fairly good condition...All bermuda is an UGLY brown this time of year. But the field is pretty solid and Coach Rains does a very good job of protecting it for playoffs towards the end of the season. Hopefully field conditions and referees will be NON-FACTORS is in this game and the game will be decided by great plays and great players and great coaches - the way it is supposed to be, right! ? :thumb:

Cville - will that "fan support" include your presence in Lexington Friday night? I hope you will be coming over - let me know...

TGF - its okay Bluto and I can take it and dish it out - we are good friends! Its all in good fun. :thumb:

just stay close to Cvillecat - I know what he looks like at least... we can meet over on the Raceland side of the field - we have a pressbox/coaches perch there as well. Your radio station folks will be in the Raceland side pressbox also... Our field has probably the BEST accommodations for the opposing coaches/press there is - you guys use our "old" pressbox-Coach's perch while we have a new Stadium seating/pressbox on our side of the field now...it is VERY accommodating for our opponents - the coach's can even come down and be inside in case it is raining and yet still be able to see.

Everytime I look at that POLL on this thread I think...WHY didnt they make LCA the BLUE one and RHS the "orange-ish" one...:confused:

Austy - make sure you look me up while you're there - its always cool to meet people from BGP...I am really glad I hooked up with Cvillecat earlier because we have become good "electronic friends" thru the process! :thumb: There are quite a few good 2nd round games this week! LexCath-Franklin Co; Beechwood/NCC; etc - great time of the year isnt it!

These two teams match up so evenly - it is amazing! Team Intra-District PF-PA LCA 6-0 43.2 - 6.3 RHS 5-1 43.2 - 9.2 1st Round: LCA beat Bath Co last week 49-21 RHS beat Paris last week 43-26 LCA defeated RHS on 09/15 at Raceland 21-10 in a very physical and close game. I think special teams will play a HUGE role in this game and will probably be the deciding factor on who will be able to capitalize on the breaks created by the Special Teams players... Gonna be FUN! :ylsuper:

KF11 and other Raceland fans coming to the game - lets all make sure to get together and have a coffee or hot chocolate! I got to meet Cvillecat at the LCA-Raceland game and would really enjoy meeting others as well... Bluto and Tough As Nails will be there. Stay in touch! :thumb:

Cvillecat - great to see you on here! You have been tops on my prayer list lately... This game is going to be a BATTLE! Should be fun for the fans to watch as well... I like all of the enthusiasm of the RAMs fans! I do agree this WILL BE an awesome HS Football game to watch! I hope it goes into OT and probably will... All I have to say is...Let the boys play the game! :ylsuper:

LCA's freshman QB Witt threw for 3TDs and ran for 2 TD's and led LCA in rushing as well! LCA's defense was stingy once again - but this was a VERY physical game for both teams - lots of PF penalties on both teams... Playoffs do mean something!

The good thing about LCA's LB's is that nobody knows their names! Because they play as a team and they know it is a TEAM that wins games... I think in front of MOST good LB's you will see some pretty tough Defensive Linemen to help the LBs do their jobs - JMO.

At Lex.ChristianAcademy we do the following things: 1. FREE MEAL PASS to all Media 2. PRESS PASS to FIELD 3. Send BOTH Team Rosters week of the game via email 4. Distribute hard-copies of Rosters at the game to Media personnel 5. Escort the Media to/from the field and treat them with great respect 6. Email ALL STATS within 5 minutes of the end of the game - every game 7. Communicate Season-to-date Stats weekly we figure we need to help them give us "coverage" any way we can - especially in Lexington where we compete with all the 3A & 4A power schools and we are just a little 1A school... :jump:

LOL! :laugh: LCA's physicality and speed are their stengths. not sure who you've been talking to...but you might want to either listen better or talk to someone else!
