  1. Yes - it should be a good game. And the Bulldogs have not faced anything like what they are about to get hit with - that is for sure. The Hazard weaker schedule will prove out this Friday as the Eagle-machine rolls on. I predict LCA 48-21.
  2. Nice "pun" too! Quite clever - we love to be "pun"-ished!
  3. We will have the "Mashed Potato Dogs" waiting for you at the gate to confiscate all paraphenalia (sp?)!!! LOL
  4. That's insightful...would you care to elaborate a little?
  5. And for the record...I have just confirmed with our Concessions Manager that they will be stocked up on the Grilled Bologna Samiches - for the Raceland contingent who are coming back for this week's game! By the way, give yourselves EXTRA TIME to navigate to the LCA campus this week due to the MALL TRAFFIC will be extra-thick due to BLACK FRIDAY (Day after Thanksgiving) - YUCK!!!!
  6. But just so everyone understands what we remember last year... Raceland had all the stats and was the #1 team in the state last year and LCA was fortunate to defeat them in the Regional Championship game - then LCA was favored to beat Hazard because of an earlier 49-7 victory over them 4 weeks earlier and went down and got beat in the Semi's 28-21. The point is...Stats mean NOTHING in HS Football - Emotions, Execution and Game Plans are everything.
  7. Rams68 - I have more! Hazard’s 3 Playoff games: Opponents Massey Avg Rank: 174 Hazard avg scores are: 53.33 – 9.67 Avg Margin: 43.66 LCA’s 3 Playoff games: Opponents Massey Avg Rank: 150 LCA avg scores are: 57.67 – 19.67 Avg Margin: 38.00
  8. For what the Strength of Schedule is worth: Per Massey site --- LCA ranked #22 Hazard ranked #97 Hazards 9 Wins were against an Average Massey Rank of 182.22; their 4 Losses were against an Average Massey Rank of 64. LCAs 11(cant count CPA in TN) Wins were against an Average Massey Rank of 136.36; LCAs 1 Loss was against Rank of 13 (LexCath).
  9. Will there be anyone at the game or listening on the radio who can post updates to the Game link on BGP? That is always very helpful!
  10. Massey has Mayfield 31 - Beechwood 22 when you Match them up against each other - today...
  11. Whatever happened to Amelung? Is he playing college anywhere and if so - how is he doing - what a talent he was for that 2007 Championship team!!!!
  12. Massey predicts this game to be LCA 43 - Haz 22 when run head-to-head. They have yet to post their actual predictions yet...
  13. Thanks John - We hope to see you at LCA again this week - we will have the Fried Bologna Samiches ready forya! Great meeting you as well!
  14. Nicely done Playtracker! This should be a keepsake for Old Rambler & Ram! Congrats Old Rambler - this is as close to being there as we could do!
  15. Perhaps this Beechwood/Mayfield dialogue should be moved over to the BEECHWOOD MAYFIELD PREDICTIONS thread as some of this data would be more useful over there for folks interested - it seems more appropriate and applicable to that thread rather than this one...no offense - just a suggestion.
  16. Here are their Stats YTD(after 12 games -- I think - maybe 11 - not sure as it was posted 11/17/2009 to KHSAA): http://scoreboard.12dt.com/scoreboard/khsaa/kyfb09/30231?id=stats_30231_0
  17. We are ashamed ....so ashamed!:isurrender: But that was well-done - thanks Playtracker for the laugh.
  18. i can add some data on the Scouting report on Hazard: We have 3 common opponents in this season: Paris, Corbin &Breathitt County – Hazard defeated Paris 52-6 (Lca beat Paris 56-0), Corbin beat Hazard 27-7 (Lca beat Corbin 42-21) and Breathitt beat Hazard 7-3 (LCA beat Breathitt 63-21) for what it is worth. Hazard has had a fairly weaker schedule than LCA but is a well-coached team with a strong defense and a decent offense with many players scoring in different ways.
  19. Old Rambler - Thanks for the support and kind words. Coach Rains gets loads of credit for the award for you! He truly appreciates passionate fans and wanted to do something to recognize your fervor for the game. He is an amazing man - in this time of personal trials in his life - with his parents having some health issues over the past 2 years, Denise's parents having similar issues and now Denise with cancer starting this season - normal men would be feeing sorry for themselves - but he continues to look out for others and how he can help others. Sound familiar? Just like you do for the Raceland fans, players and coaches! We are hopeful this award brings some good cheer to your life and that it lifts your spirits so that you may continue to bless those around you with your cheerfulness and wisdom. Have a great evening and weekend.
  20. Now that might help Bluto really hit those HIGH NOTES if you timed it just right! Too funny!! LOL
  21. One of those awesome samiches from your Grill will work for me next year! LOL Regardless of tonight's outcome, District 5 will be sending a great representative to the State Semi's!
  22. Safe Travels for the Raceland folks today. See you all tonight at the game and remember: 1. Let us know if there is anyone needing assistance from Parking Area to Stands - its a fairly long walk - so we have a golf cart to get you there if anyone needs the assistance 2. Parents/Fans Pre-Game Prayer at 7:10pm (listen for Announcements over the PA) 3. Bluto sings the National Anthem at about 7:20pmET (Bring Ear-plugs)!!! 4. 7:30pm - Let the Boys PLAY!!!! 5. about 10:00pm Crown the Regional Champion
  23. RF04 - perhaps the sign should say "Guess who's coming for dinner? EAGLES!" LOL
  24. And all the RAM fans know we will be rooting for Raceland if they are victorious this week as well! We always want our District to be represented - and I honestly believe either of these two teams could play with anyone else in the state in Class 1A - especially the way Raceland has been playing lately - like the last 4 games! Good luck Friday - and look me up - Sidelinedoc and Ram will be hooking up with me before the game. I run Stats - so i will be up in the pressbox during the game.
