  1. Thanks Doc! Safe travels and I hope you get to sleep over the weekend (ie there were no injuries for you to worry about)!!!!
  2. Congrats Rams! We will see you in Lex next Friday nite!
  3. Zach West didnt even dress tonite - healing up an achilles injury...
  4. 50-0 at halftime with running clock they scored 3 times on our JV/Frosh in 2nd half
  5. Massey update on this game - after last Friday's game results are considered, the new update is Raceland wins 25-15 http://www.highschoolsports.net/massey/ratings/Raceland-Worthington-High-School-Raceland-KY/Football/Varsity/Boys/2010/
  6. Massey has Wburg winning 30-27...
  7. Hey Doc - I woke up this morning actually thinking about your Floatie needs...here are some of my probably "stupid" ideas instead of Floaties: 1. ZIpLoc bag with air 2. ZipLoc bag with styrofoam or styrofoam peanuts(packing materials) 3. AirPac packing material - it is actually airfilled bags that are used in packaging to take up space - they come in strips of 4"x5"x1.5"W bags with perforations between each bag so you can line various size boxes, etc
  8. I agree CNC - it would not surprise me to see all 4 of the District 5 teams playing in Round #2...and Nicholas County has improved every game this season - so I look for this to be a close game as well.
  9. Either way the "jackets" win this one! ps - Nicholas County is the Blue jackets!
  10. DeSales was District 5 #1(6-4) while Lloyd was District 6 #4 (2-8) and here is the link to all of the 2010 District Standings: http://www.khsaa.org/football/2010/district.html
  11. OR - not ruling out LCA at all - just trying to look at facts and use cerebral logic to contribute to this thread - my heart still is picking the Eagles (LCA that is) - but I am also a realist and I honestly think 4 of the top 6 1A teams are in the BW/MF bracket...
  12. good point Snake - again no offense implied - just offering my opinion and I have not seen either BW or MF play this year - just looking at their scores and schedules. Good luck to all of the teams throughout the playoffs.
  13. I picked Beechwood over Mayfield simply because of Strength of Schedule...Beechwood has managed its way thru a very difficult schedule with tougher District foes as well... I am not trying to take anything away from any other team - just my opinion - kind of like there is no way that TCU or Boise State should ever be considered for the National Championship - because their schedules are weak. Mayfield's schedule strength will come back to haunt them in the Semi-final game - again IMO. I like the entire field of teams this year and look for teh final four to be LCA vs Hazard & Beechwood vs Mayfield - which will be some very fun football to watch.
  14. I am surprised there arent TWO buses heading down there - cmon Ram fans! Good luck Rams - we want to see you in Lexington next week!
  15. here is their Schedule Results: http://scoreboard.12dt.com/scoreboard/khsaa/kyfb10/?id=32414 and if you click on the ROSTER link and the LATEST STATS REPORT link you will see about everything you want to know without seeing film...also, for each game played - you can click on the STATS? link entitled "click" to see the stats posted for that specific game... hope this helps...
  16. Massey predicts Raceland 24-17 over Cville...
  17. Game was played at Corbin...clock management and play calling down in the 10 yard line was definitely questionable - especially since LCA was moving the ball with the run and the score was tied - you must call plays to ensure at least some type of score on that possession - an across the field pass was probably not the best of choices. A FG to take the lead should have been the minimally acceptable result - a turnover was the worst case scenario. This was definitely an fun game and exciting game to watch and the kids played hard for both teams - great experience leading into the playoffs for sure. I dont think either team took on injuries - so all is well for these two teams to go deep in the playoffs. Good luck Redhounds - and I also am happy for #12 to have scored on a TD reception to take the lead - he was a heck of a QB the past few years and it was nice to see him be able to have an impact - good athlete and seems to be a great kid too.
  18. OR - looks like you will be playing at Campbellsville to me - if I am reading the District standings correctly...
  19. If the School's A/D doesnt submit their reports to the KHSAA via the defined processes and must be entered by Thursday at Noon - then those Stats do not get added into the system. You can verify WHO is and is NOT reporting by going to the KHSAA website and look up your school to see when they last reported, if ever...for example, here is a link to Cooper which shows they did not yet report the Conner game stats from last week, but had all previous games YTD. http://scoreboard.12dt.com/scoreboard/khsaa/kyfb10/?id=32580
  20. Linebacker U is THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY boys! Look it up and do your math - not KY math either! LOL 2nd to them is Penn State for Linebackers in the NFL. FACT!
  21. How about we borrow some of your players since they are idle and let them yell that with us - then maybe we have a chance!
  22. Well...I just had Massey site play these two teams in the "Matchup" simulator and it has Corbin winning 26-22...so there ya go! Massey is amazingly accurate most of the time - and luckily Raceland made him wrong this past weekend by beating Russell! LOL
  23. Massey predicts Raceland to win in Overtime 36-30 ... Tissue? Here you big cry-baby!
  24. #2 is okay - he did come back from the hospital to return to the sidelines during the end of the game. by the way, #73 was a pretty tough lineman for them - a little overzealous at times - but very aggressive and assertive.
  25. he got blind-sided while playing defense on a QB keeper by LCA's McCamy and #24 Mossbarger just destroyed him. the kid tool a major shot - clean shot however - but would have been a $75k fine in the NFL now - I would suspect he has a concussion based upon his actions while attempting to get up/falling down...he did end up walking off with assistance but was clearly woozy. we would like to hear of his updates if anyone has news on him.
