At41-Now that you have stopped laughing just remember back to the days that you played or coached(Or were a cheerleader) for the Tomcats.Didn't you feel pretty confident at home?Don't think it is paranoia on my part.Ask any non-Ashland fan(yes there are a few) in which visiting gym they are most likely to get "puzzling" calls at the most critical times and IMO the answer will be Ashland.Seriously do you ever hear people say we(meaning their team) can't get a break at Boyd,Russell,Morgan,Fairview ...

AT41-Every home game at Ashland is basically a tryout for the AIT the following year.Go ahead talk to some of the local refs privately and you'll understand.

Not with the calls Ashland gets at home.

Fairview will have to play a good game to defeat Rose Hill.RH looked very good tonight.Everyone talks about how good they will be in a couple of years and they will be-But they aren't bad right now.

Fairview 73-69.For Fairview Hutchinson(20),Holbrook(20) and Barker(19) led the way.Martin (26) and Daniel(19) led Rowan.

McDavid is a good player and a quality young man.If earlier posts are correct McDavid(43),Thomas(15) and Reliford (8) had 66 of the 72.What happen with Cannoy and Williams?

Tolliver does a good job for Raceland running the point.I thought RH played a good game.As far as what happened at the end of the game with the fans their is no excuse for that.RH wants that big win(a quality 16th region team) so badly that emotions sometimes collide with rational action.However make no mistake about it Coach Fraley has them playing very hard.I look for them to beat Breathitt today and then tomorrow give Greenup or Fairview a heck of a game.

I didn't see this game but I expected a much better game from the Raiders after their showing against Bob Jones.BTW how did Bob Jones do in their second game?

Could be tougher than you think.Menifee is much tougher at home.Still say Morgan by 15.

Great game to watch.Elliott led by as much as 12 and Fairview was up at one time 54-46.Elliott shot the three great in the first half (7-9).Weddington indeed had a great game.He must be back in the good graces of the coaching staff as he wasn't starting earlier in the year.Elliott has a very nice team as does Fairview.Black had a 14pts./14 rebounds and Barker had 24 and several assists.Hutchinson provided a spark by hitting three threes in a row during the 3rd period quarter.Elliott should win the tournament.They play Lawrence tomorrow and then on Friday they play the winner of the Raceland/Rowan game.Bottom line Elliott played better and deserved the victory.It should indeed be a very good Class A tournament(It will be held at Fairview).

KY. Hoopster-You are correct.Elliott has a very nice team.They play hard and with a tremendous amount of Confidence.Should be a good game tomorrow with the Eagles.Fairview must play much better against Elliott than they did tonight(against Lawrence) if they are to win.

The Russell-Fairview question will be settled tonight.

Morgan and Boyd are clearly at the top of the 16th region.There can be no doubt about this.Menifee,Bath,Lewis and Rose Hill are for the most part the bottom four teams.The other 10 are clearly interchangeable with any team capable of winning a given game.With Clark back look for Russell to play strong and easily pass their 40 points per game average.
