Yep...Tigers shot: 23-of-43 from the floor and 22-of-33 from free throw line, while Greenup was 16-of-46 from the floor and 10-of-17 from the charity stripe.

Chris Good led the Tigers with 25 points (7-of-13 and 9-of-15), while Jerry Smith scored 16 and Aaron Grubb had 15.

The Tigers won without the services of Matthew Cox, who was out with an ankle injury.

Barbourville shot 12-of-18 from the floor in the first half.

I was also impressed with the play of Derick Vanover, who stepped in for Cox at point guard and did a great job.

Crwaford was tourney MVP.

Vanover played very well at both ends of the floor and I thought that Barbourville's effort on defense was also very impressive. Greenup Co. needs to be commended for their effort also, but they could not get any shots to fall from the outside and Barbourville was bigger and contested everything on the inside, plus they did not get any breaks in this game.

Barbourville was the best all-around team in the touney and deserved the title.

Did Smith really have 16 points. On the radio they said that Crawford had 16 and Smith had 8 I think? That makes since if he was the MVP. But Didnt he come down with an ankle injury in the late second half. Does this mean that Him and Cox will both be out when they play central next friday. Central fans will be excited to hear this news. Good luck Panthers.

Looks like Greenup played well in the tournament. They play hard good defense, but lack the big, strong post player. Kudos to Greenup for their 2nd place fnish. Congrats to B-ville on the championship.

I think that Crawford had 16 and he did not appear to hurt his ankle very badly.

Barbourville was able to win the tourney with some good play and the benefit of the doubt calls. I noticed a couple of the same officals had all of their games throughout. Greenup was not allowed to get up in Barbourville and press them the way they were allowed the night before against Carolina Forest. In the words of one local coach....."When you go bear hunting sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear gets you". It was an interesting Falls tournament in alot of ways.

B-ville is a solid top three team in the 13th.

They always are this time of year, they seem to fade away come tourney time. :creepy:

This B'ville team strikes me as being mentally and physically tougher than the last few years, so they may do better come tournament time.
