Big win for the Lions tonight. Ronald Weddington had a huge night being awarded player of the game with 14 pts, 15 reb., and 11 assist. Jon Ferguson goes for 22 and Evan Faulkner 21 to pace the Lions. Barker had a nice game for Fairview as did Cody Black. Lions are now 2-0 in pool play and I believe have already won their pool no matter the outcome of tomorrows game against Lawerence Co. Good job Elliott! :ylsuper: :dancingpa

Excellent game to watch. It will be a heck of an All A tourney this year.

Great game to watch.Elliott led by as much as 12 and Fairview was up at one time 54-46.Elliott shot the three great in the first half (7-9).Weddington indeed had a great game.He must be back in the good graces of the coaching staff as he wasn't starting earlier in the year.Elliott has a very nice team as does Fairview.Black had a 14pts./14 rebounds and Barker had 24 and several assists.Hutchinson provided a spark by hitting three threes in a row during the 3rd period quarter.Elliott should win the tournament.They play Lawrence tomorrow and then on Friday they play the winner of the Raceland/Rowan game.Bottom line Elliott played better and deserved the victory.It should indeed be a very good Class A tournament(It will be held at Fairview).

I missed my prediction on this game, but I knew that if Elliott shot the 3 well they would be dangerous!! I'd still say that Fairview could beat them 8 out of 10 on a neutral floor! But you never know when Elliott will rise to the occassion!

I still maintain that Elliott Co. is under rated and over looked by most everyone. I think that they have a legitimate claim to a top 5 position right now and believe that they will content for the 16th region title.

Unless they raise the rims, change the rules, and put age restrictions on participants Elliott can play on any floor.The rowdy environment in Sandy Hook may get the juices flowing but they can PLAY!

This was a neutral floor. Unless Fairview has decided to move all their home games to The Palace.

 

I guess now Fairview would have to win 8 of 9.
