Raceland 37 LCA 35
Great game to watch...Both teams played hard to the very end. Raceland deserved the win. They had a great game plan and executed it well. Now...there is NO way anyway can say that game was officiated "great". While I dont think it probably effected the outcome, the disparity in the number of penalties called was crazy. I think I heard them say after the game it was 16 - 2. LCA was called for 2 holding penalties on the last drive alone. Holding could be called on every play. I was standing right in front of the personal foul too...while it can be debated about whether it should have even been called...there is NO WAY that is an ejectable PF. I wouldnt be suprised if LCA appeals the ejection and the kid plays next week. As I said earlier though...I do not think this changed the outcome of the game. Raceland took it too LCA tonight. It did look as though LCA may have finally found some defense in the second half. Congrats Rams!

LCA @ Raceland Predictions
LCA beat the Rams 42-7 last year in regular season and 34-32 in playoffs. LCA's scoring average was 38, Rams was 19.5. My prediction... LCA 38 Rams 20

Is Mount Hadden still the DC at Henry Co.?

LCA @ Raceland Predictions
I can tell you this...if you "just" focus on Hayden...Whitt will kill you. He had a 50yd run called back against Lloyd. LCA is not a one dimensional offense. LCA will put points on the board Friday night...the real answer might be the first one to 40 wins...

LCA @ Raceland Predictions

LCA 67 Paris 20
I agree Bluto...they have a VERY good running back and that LB was all over the field. That kid could play LB anywhere in the state.

LCA 67 Paris 20
No stats...but the game was essentially over after the 1st quarter. Most of the 4th was a running clock. Paris scored all three touchdowns on runs of probably 60 yds or more.

LCA/Paris Predictions 9/12/08
Usually teams "look ahead" to a rivalry game, playoff game, or some other sort of "big" game. Thats not a slap at Lloyd, just dont really understand why they would look past a district team to an ooc team thats not a rivarly.

That was posted by a Lloyd supporter.

LCA/Paris Predictions 9/12/08
Why would they be looking ahead to Lloyd? That doesnt make sense...

2008 Montgomery County
It's amazing to me they have a quality of a coach like Stockdale at their middle school. Coach Stockdale has the knowledge and experience to be a varsity HC anywhere. MC is lucky to have him...

PRP cancels scrimmage after two players collapse.
Sad news...the player has passed away as of 4pm this afternoon. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

PRP cancels scrimmage after two players collapse.
From what I have been told...TIFWIW...that it wasnt the water breaks that were the problem...but the amount of conditioning that was given. Keep in mind that 3 players fell out...not 2. 2 went to the hospital. Someone posted on the CJ site that the players ran 18 200's. That seems to be pretty extensive...Hope all involved come out OK. But I WAS NOT there...and received the info second hand. From everything Ive ever been told Stintson is a really good guy.

Questions about the Double Wing
I'm well aware of a double slot and double wing...Wolfe's double wing is the Ace formation out of the WingT.

Questions about the Double Wing
Chris Wolfe (formerly of Hancock Co, Waggener, and PRP) ran the double wing...of the Flex bone variety. That was his system but what he ran out of it depended mostly on his talent. At Hancock it was mostly option n stuff because of Atwell. One year at Waggener (semi year) he ran almost exclusively the zone because of that big FB he had that year. Then when he had A. Smith he ran a lot of sweeps etc.

LCA vs. Beechwood 1A State Championship
Thats BUSH LEAGUE....I was at that game and LCA's players were not taunting BW's sidelines. I am sure they were more than ecstatic...A 5 yr program just beating the cow bell of Class A football in KY. I think some of the "taunting " you are referring too has been misconstrued... Should be a dandy of a game.

LCA vs. Beechwood 1A State Championship
I was at that game...what extra curriculat activities are you referring too?

Pikeville @ Lexington Christian (1A)

Boyle Co 43 Dunbar 14
I have thought the same from watching them the last couple of years...but be careful what you say as they have their loyal defenders on here.
