Austydak Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 What a game Bluto. I hate to say it but I hope all the penalties LCA had in the last series were true infractions. I would hate for this game to end like this because of bad refs. 2 good teams going at each other should not be decided by the refs.
Painter Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 WOW! Awesome game Rams!! (Please tell me I dont have to read 37 - 35 for the next two months)...just kidding....Great Game!

I guess that is theoretically possible, but... we'll have to watch the game film.
Austydak Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 "Beechwood... may I introduce you to Raceland... you all have a lot in common it appears" Lets not go there just yet. The Rams have several more games before they need to worry about Beechwood. Let them soak up this win till tomorrow and then get ready for the game next week. The Tigers are not even on the radar yet.

Not saying they are destined to face each other, but this win definately has to put Raceland in the same breath as being in the running for the title.

oldrambler Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Great game to follow on the update thread. This one gives Raceland the upper hand on the top seed on the district and playoffs. Congrats to the Rams on a hard fought win over a very, very good LCA team. This one went back and forth all night. These two are very evenly matched and could very possibly meet again in the playoffs/district championship. Way to Go Rams!!! Enjoy it this weekend and starting on Monday start getting ready and focused on Greenup County! Never be satisfied, you can always get better. Rams it is now 4 down and 11 to go. :flame:
Austydak Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Raceland/LCA 196 308 Passing 204 -76 Rushing 400 384 Total Yards Man you can't get much more even than that for a HS game. Looks like the Rams did a good job of taking Hayden out of the offense.

oldrambler Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Congrats as well to a very good LCA Eagle football team :thumb:. Your kids play hard the entire game and are definately one of the very best Class A teams in the State.
