Raceland 37 LCA 35

Featured Replies

What a game Bluto. I hate to say it but I hope all the penalties LCA had in the last series were true infractions. I would hate for this game to end like this because of bad refs. 2 good teams going at each other should not be decided by the refs.

The officials were the best. IMO, the best crew around.

Sounds like this was a great game! Congrats to the Rams...

"Beechwood... may I introduce you to Raceland... you all have a lot in common it appears"

I wouldn't jump the gun just yet. This is a HUGE win for Raceland BUT I wouldn't even mention Beechwood yet. They will still have to get by LCA again, not to mention the possibility of playing Hazard, Beechwood, Bellevue, and Frankfort. Again, I will say this is a HUGE win for Raceland, maybe the biggest regular season win ever because of what it could mean later in the season and playoffs, but there is still a long way to go before even thinking about the carpet. Congrats to the Rams!! Way to represent our area!! Who says eastern KY can't compete with Lexington?

Congratulations to the Rams!:ylsuper:

Just got back from Mongtomery Co. and getting caught up on the scores.

Wow...the LCA player was ejected??? What a horrible error for a player to make when his team is driving to try to win the game! What in the world transpired to cause the ejection?

From where we were at it looked like he kicked the kid that tackled him. Not sure if anything happened before that to initiate that reaction. It really didn't seem like a very chippy game. Lots of each team helping each other up all night. LCA is a rival, but its always been a friendly one as far as I can tell.

Ram was on top of the press box- he probably had a clearer view of it than we did.

I was zoomed in on the tackle and had a great view of the extracurricular activity. The LCA committed the offense and was penalized properly. End of story.

Especially that Umpire! Man, I can't quite think of his name but gosh he is good. I think he is the best official that I've ever seen. Man, I wish I could think of his name......it's on the tip of my tongue.

You can help me out, but I am pretty sure the crew that was at the Raceland/LCA game consistently grades out with the highest score in the area.

No matter, this is one of the best officiating crews in the area, and I am sure they are one of the best in the state. They are very experienced and good at what they do.

Congrats to the Rams on a big win!!!!! One of the most exciting games I have ever watched. I didn't think the pass defense played that bad but did have a couple of occassions where it appeared assigments were blown. I'm sure the coaching staff will be at work tomorrow to correct that. The Ram defense forced Whitt out of the pocket but he does an excellent job throwing on the run and the LCA WR's do a great job of continuing their routes.

I can't say enough about the DC Express. They continue to roll behind a great effort by the O-line. John Scott Carver ran like a man on a mission. I also thought C. Kelley had a good game at LB. Loren Huffman also came in and made a nice catch to keep the Rams drive going.

As Ram mentioned, hats off to Tate Preston. Congrats on the FG under tough pressure. Your hard work is paying off.

Enjoy the win this week-end and get back to work on Monday. Stay focused.

The Rams with some impovements can make a big run for state this year. LCA will play the Rams the again I am sure of that.

They're probably the #1 ranked crew this year and I know they could work any game in the state. Especially the umpire, man he's awesome!:D

I have never seen such praise of officials! :-) What in the world happened in this game? Is this praise sarcasm? I don't know. I wasn't there. Are LCA fans going to complain about the officiating or something?

There was a question about a personal foul and ejection of a LCA player.

The praise is well deserved and not sarcasm. The crew that called the Raceland/LCA game is indeed the best crew in the area. I would love to have them at all our games. There is not many reasons to question this crew. They are the best.

I guess the heat of the battle in LCA's first difficult road game this year got to them! They have another tough road game October 17th against Breathitt County. That should be a good one as well.

The Rams really missed Brian Tolliver out there on Defense tonight.

He was injured on the 3rd play last week at Fairview and will be out

I think for several weeks.

Get well soon #12.

Great Job tonight RAMS!
