  1. The crowd Ryle brought was really nothing. I would expect that kind of crowd for any home game with this Raider team. They are very good, and are having a season you won't and haven't seen around Ryle in some time. The crowd was nothing to crowds we had against Cov Cath, and Boone back in 98,99, 2000 there were people outside of the school piled on the hills to watch that game. It was cool that it was crowded, but there is plenty more room at our place for me people to come out and watch the 3rd round game....
  2. All I know is were undefeated at home this year, and play tough there. I was a little disapointed to see Campbell Co. have more fans turn out then Ryle, but that also credits there program and how far it has come. They came out full force representing there team to the fullest. Good run Camels it's nice to see both of use having a good season. I like our chances at home against anyone on this side of our bracket...
  3. I love the whole you can't take a ride from someone. No we'd rather let the kids walk home..... wow seriously
  4. I'll be there. I hope the game has a great turnout.
  5. Ryle will shut down the most overated QB/WR combo in recent years just as they did the first game. Ryle's QB's first game he played this year was against C.C and showed rust, I look for him to really play big now that he's fully customed to the offense. Too much Ryle RB'S, and Stingy D for the Camels. Not to mention Ryle has the best Kicker in NKY behind CCH's. I'll take Ryle at home, considering we went into the Camels backyard and beat there behinds 34-7.
  6. Murrary busted out atleast 800 yards in the regular season on only 120 carries and an average near 8 yards a carry. He had 16 touchdowns during the regular season. This isn't mentioning his 270 yard game last week against Dixie. Gray had about 60 more carries and gained the same yardage for around 5.3 yards a carry, and also 16 touchdowns. That's over 1600 yard rushing and 32 td's by only two of the backs.
  7. Ryle 30 CC 14 Too much Power run game for Ryle, and last time they played Ryle's D was just too physical for the Camels!! This time we get to play them on our frield too!
  8. Vince Murray is just a flat out beast. He will be ready to tear up C.C again like he did earlier this year. I wonder if he's drawing any small div 1 schools interest. IMO he could play ball somewhere. Hats off to Scott Gray too. Played pretty tough for being sick.
  9. It was pretty much all Ryle. Dixie had a few alright drives but without there starting QB they never really put anything good together. Ryle played about as good as last week, a little lackluster for me, but nonetheless they win, and move on to play Campbell Co . @ Ryle next week. They waxed C.C earlier this year but were like 6 weeks removed from that game and it will be a good one.
  10. No it was still the 3rd quarter when I left. Ryle had just picked a pass off on D then drove down and kicked a FG. I felt for sure they would walk away the game winners with atleast a 10 point win.
  11. I just got back from the game it was 24-12 Ryle, and no Bricking wasn't playing. It was pretty much all Vince Murrary again he had two huge td runs when I was there.
  12. That's what my little brother just texted me from the game. Don't have an official score yet, but GO RAIDERS!!! That's huge for the program.
  13. I'm sorry but your not good enough to beat anybody on any day of the week. Your record shows it...
  14. I'm going to say Dixie cannont overcome the loss of there starting QB in just one week. Even if he is a go he's going to be sore, and he would likely get hurt again. Ryle's D played pretty well against Dixie and only gave up a late TD that made the closer than what it was shaping up to be. Ryle has nothing to hold back, and I think Vince will get about 25 carries for another 200 yards, and the D to step it up a notch. Ryle 25+ Dixie 10-
  15. That's what I'm talking bout, I've been around this program since it started and I was playing my pee wee ball still. Talk about getting to state, or even talk about making it past the first or second round of the playoffs is like way overboard for us right now. We haven't even sniffed anything yet to be talking about it, and like you said the team needs to pay full attention to what's up this week, because if you don't take care of buisness at this point, there is no next week!
  16. I'll tell you right now that WE/RYLE DO NOT have the ability to get back in the ball game if behind by the passing game. We don't have any real WR's, and the QB isn't that good of a passer. That's not Ryle's game this year though. They have a speedy defense that can cause turnovers, and a strong running game with 3 different RB's to use. If they play good ball I could see them going somewhere in the playoffs this year, and how the brackets set up, but I'm being realistic and thinking a 3rd round victory would be a more reasonable destination for the Raiders. I don't see them getting past the like of Henderson Co to get the finals, and if we did I know we don't have the slightest chance against either T,Male, or X.
  17. For what's it worth I left going into the fourth because it was 16-7 Ryle, and Dixie couldn't do anything. Dixie's RB broke off a long TD sometime during the fourth and up until that point he only had about 30 yards on 10 or 11 carries. Dixie wasn't doing much of anything all night, and Ryle spoiled a couple of scores for themselevs. Ryle played agressive but I think the play calling was pretty laid back for the reason they play again this week. I'll take Ryle by 14+ next Friday.
  18. I know the Raider Seniors are going to be ready for this one. They haven't had much success against this Dixie team growing up but that doesn't matter anymore its a new season, new teams, and I think # 2 and # 3 will bring there A games for the Raiders Friday, and on out. I think they put something on Dixie friday night.. Ryle by 14 or more.
  19. Joe Castenada is the most talented one I've seen after that there's only really one I've seen that has stood out to me. Scott Gray - Ryle hands down from what I've seen. He makes huge plays on the defensive side of the ball and when the quarterbacks have been going his way this year they haven't had much success. He is a very good tackler too, and he has to be because Ryle's D is based on speed not size he has to come up and make alot of plays.
  20. I never played Scott under Coach Hockman and in 03' Warner's first year Holmes, and Scott moved into the district.
  21. Dont act like Dixie is on another level than Ryle and CC. New season, different players. Streaks end somewhere.
  22. I think Ryle wins out. They've got Dixie at home with a lot on the line in two weeks, and I think there going to secure one of the two home field spots. I just really hope we can pull out our first district championship.
  23. Gray had a couple of TD's one receiving, two Rushing, a blocked punt, an interception and a sack. That's a heck of a game if you ask me.
  24. When NewCath played Ryle this year I was really impressed with his athleticism for his size. He almost ran down one of Ryle's DB's on a huge return that you wouldnt expect from someone his size. I think its crazy he plays basketball and has that kind of athleticism that NewCath hasn't used him at TE. Anyhow I think a redshirt year would do his frame wonders, and he could be a stud in just a few seasons.
