Well in my opinion, Cory Porter is an amazing DB. He has so much potential still and he's only a junior. His coaches underlook him ALOT. I've been to all of the CCHS games and he does not play much. When he gets in though, he really makes a difference. I would guess he has played around 60 or 70 snaps and he has six interceptions. Two games he had a cast on and that really got in his way. Without the cast he has atleast 10 interceptions. Hopefully the coaches see the potential in this kid soon. Whether he plays this year or not his senior year will be one to watch!

I think Tommy Gibson from SK is with Joe C. ! I think Tommy would shut Joe C out if he played O !:lol: It would have been fun to see them to play against each other ! Though most of you who participate in this forum don't consider Carroll County as N.Ky. and Louisville doesn't claim us either. The Welch kid from Carroll has had a nice year at db, while also playing both ways at Qb and at times running for his life. Has only given up 6-7 receptions, all but one of those coming from the #1 and #6 teams in A ball. Thanks for the thread! DB the most vulnerable position on defense!

Carroll Co is halfway between Louisville and Cincy on 71

He may be small, but he sticks to recievers like glue. I am talking about Spencer Head from Highlands. :bunny:

Joe Castenada is the most talented one I've seen

 

after that there's only really one I've seen that has stood out to me.

 

Scott Gray - Ryle hands down from what I've seen. He makes huge plays on the defensive side of the ball and when the quarterbacks have been going his way this year they haven't had much success. He is a very good tackler too, and he has to be because Ryle's D is based on speed not size he has to come up and make alot of plays.
