When will the All District and All State Teams for Kentucky High Schools Football Teams be posted and how are these teams picked?

JIMMY-REF, I checked my source who was a coach on that freshman team in 04 and he said that the score was 17-7 with 51 seconds left and Trinity R/B sweeps left and he said that a St.X player " Carpenter" I think he said, just took the ball away from the r/b and ran to the endzone for a T-D, great play he said. Then T takes the kick off and on first offensive series, a pass to w/r who fumbles running down the sideline after catching the pass. Then St. X recovers fumble and scores a T/D to win 21-17, that his story and he is sticking with it, really dosen't make any differemce though it is history, I was just curious about it. The 07 game was a great game by all, but i have two questions, why not kick a field-goal on fourth down instead of taking a chance of fumbling, which is what did happen to the Tigers. My second question is for the Rocks, why not let the first half run out and go into halftime tied?

How much longer will the Tiger faithfull put up with the football teams lack of state championships in football, does there need to be a change.

I wonder where the problem exist, we have all read the great stat information the Jimmy-ref and others have produced for us and by those stats how could the Rocks beat St. X ever. We have all read how great the freshmen teams have been from St X for the last 5-6 years seemingly always beating the Rocks, so what happens between there freshmen year and their senior year that makes the rocks seem to get better and Coach Glasier say and do some of the things that he has done in the last few years. I just heard an interesting story today, that as freshmen this group of seniors were beating the Tigers by 10 points with 51 seconds left in the game and a player from Trinity who made the interception in the end zone at last nights game fumbled and things went crazy and the tigers came back and beat the rocks, does anyone know about this and why didn't someone bring it up this week, is this a true story if it is no wonder the rocks won last night, they must of not forgotten that day, just as the tigers will never forget the 07 championship game, what memories for all of these great seniors from both teams. I wonder exactly where the Rocks will land on the final national high school polls for 2007. I think Louisville St. X was 15th last week, and Cincy St X was 1st or 2nd and having played both, I don't see either of them droping down so where do the Rocks finish maybe somewhere in between those two, maybe 10th or 12th what do you all think?

I wonder where Coach Glaser had his broom and umbrella at last night, I did not see it after the game. When will the X administration hear enough of the excuses, bad quotes, class-less and disrespectful game props (broom-umbrella) and say enough is enough. Nothing against the players they are all great kids, but the head man may be a little out of control. How does Trinity do it, they never seem to break, and have shown so much faith in each other as people and football players, it has to come from the top. Great win Rocks and good luck.

We should all wait and see what the X-Tigers do to the Rocks this weekend. Depending on the results, Coach Glasier may be the top candidate for the opening at Ballard, we are all getting tired of the Rocks adding the Hardware and the Tigers making excuses, I mean a bad spot, A rain storm, those are lousy excuses, the Tiger Teams of late have not been ready to play in the big game, let's all hope that he has the ship righted this year. Why would anyone care what the Tigers are ranked nationally, it will change again after Saturday. I hope for Coach Glasier's sake that the Tigers win this game, because if not he could be the leading candidate for the Ballard Head Coach Job which opened up recently, well maybe not he really has struggled beating the private schools lately, or should I say when it counted. :argue: Go Tigers (A win will keep coach Glasier!!)

It appears that Ballard Administration has set a presedent, and thry have now made a statement for their school: (win at all cost). The already had a great football coach, a great teacher and honest person, who did it the right way but just could not beat the Private Schools, that is no disgrace he always beat the teams that he should have beaten, what else could you ask for. I wonder who will be the next next fired because a school decided to go in a different direction, Manual's coach is in the same boat, surely Manual won't stoop to the standards that Ballard has set for their community. What coach will ever come there and beat the Catholic Schools on a regular basis. Redman has already been there and if it was such a great place he would still be there, everybody deserves one mistake but two by Redmon would only harm his great career as a Great High School Football Coach!:confused:

Jimmy-Ref Being from the mountains we would say, OH so close but no Cigar! in reference to the Tiger's Title Game of 2005 & regular season game of 2006. How did the Tigers win so big during the 2005 regular season game and lose the Title game by as you stated a bad spot (Good Tackle)? And how in the regular season game did Trinity score 10 points and the Tigers 0 in 2006, did they get points for having shown up or did they get points for not bringing an umbrella to the game? (remember no unbrellas at the Pizza Box!!) What the heck is going on, have the Catholic Schools started up a KHSAA boxing league, is that you reference to taking off the gloves? I still believe that Tigers are the best team in 2007, so they will and have to win to keep pace with the Rocks, it is just their time to win, I mean it would not be fun for all if the Rocks just kept winning state titles and were not the best team. Oxnard, I am a bit sorry that your feathers were ruffled by something that I must of said in my post, but I believe that I should be able to post my thoughts just as you can and not be bashed by another BGP member. I don't know my twin Jim Seymour #85, but I am sure sorry that he got brought into this discussion, he just has an opinion too I would guess. I still believe that the Tigers will win with a running clock. Oh, by the way I am a Corbin Redhound fan and have been for life, I just happened to get transfered to the big city. I am also sorry that there is so much anger with your affiliation with the Tigers and your undoubted dislike for the Rocks. Hey I wouild guess that LSU Rock is somewhere above us just laughing at these post this season, I bet he would have alot to say about this season. Go Tigers!!!

Here the Rocks go again this week they are playing another "Best Offensive Line in the State", along with the best running back in the state, by the way this Farris kid maybe the best. I just don't know how the Rocks will handle the team from Northern Kentucky. I admire your spirited fans and I hope that your team has a great game against the Rocks. I think the score will be 50-13. Jimmy - Ref, I am a bit shocked that the Tigers from St. X are just 13th in that poll, I believe that they are definately a top 10 maybe even a 7-8 nationally. I can't wait for the chance to show everyone just how great St. X is this year. I was also wondering what the true status of Duece Finch is, I know that you will have all the inside facts and will not lead us down the wrong path. I hope that Duece get back this week, I really believe from what I hear that he will be back this week, I hope that his return dosen't hurt the chemisty that Montano and Knot have brought to the team since his injury. Wow, this was a real shocker to me, with all that I read all year about Henry Clay having the best offensive line in the state,a four star wide receiver, a real good Q/b and they did have a great running back, he was awesome from what I have heard and read. So with all that being said what the heck happened to Henry Clay Friday night? I heard that the Q/b really was not even looking for Boyd that much during the game, how do you not throw the ball to this kid 15-20 times a game? Nice game Rocks best of luck with Boone County. The Rocks seem to be on a roll, can Boone County beat the Rocks?

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Day. I believe this will be a very close game with the Rocks pulling it out late. The Trinity Defense is greatly improved over the last four weeks and will be the difference in this game. They will have a tough time with the Boyd kid, he is a great athlete, receiver, and being that he is 6'6" he will be a task for the Rocks they must chuck him at the line of scrimmage. The running QB is always a problem for the Rocks, and their running back is real quick and could cause a problem. The Offense seems to be unstopable unless they have some turnovers. Who do you stop Radcliff, Dutton Twins, Super Man, Carrico, Stein or the O- line? The one clear advantage Henry Clays seems to have is special teams, the Rocks are struggling with kick off coverage and which kicker will show up! :argue: Rocks 49- Henry Clay 35

Jimmy Ref, I am amazed at how much you know about every football team in Ky and Cincy, I appreciate all that you do for BGP, it would not be the same without you on board. I agree the very short T-Rocks Defensive Backs are a great disadvantage when it comes to covering Boyd, I think as some one else posted, Henry Clay was just playing around with Paul Dunbar, to fake out the rocks. I just can't believe how you picked that up that so quick. What do you think will be the final score. Will the Rocks even score on H/C with the defensive changes that you noted that Henry Clay recently made, in a earlier post. Who will be in the final, and do they even need to show up to play the almighty "X", who I bet are really feeling the pressure with being undefeated and all. Go Tiger"s:walk:

St. X is again the favorite to win the State Championship, this being the first 6-A Championship, they will bring home the bacon. Jimmy Ref we all know you are a X parent actual, I believe that you have two sons on the team. Even though you would like for everyone to think that the pressure is on the Rocks, we all know that X is the team to beat. They have beaten everyone badly including the Rocks, and I don't see anyone scoring very much on our great defense, maybe the best X defense ever.
