  1. I really don't care one way or the other but it I like someone else on here it should be you play in the class that your numbers represent. It isn't fair for one school to be on the border and want to play in a class that would save them money or a school want to play up in a class to save them money. You say the up in the class is a disadvantage for Highlands, well if you are getting the best players all the way around you, then you are at a disadvantage.
  2. Depending on the numbers, that is what I read in the article, if you are within say 20 (just a number that I pulled out of the air) kids shouldn't travel, expenses and safety(these are the issues that LN used) be used for making that determination. How can you say that moving down is an advantage? The last time I checked Bell County and Lexington Catholic are very good teams and they are in 4A and I am pretty sure that both have beaten Highlands and Cov Cath. So, who are they dodging.
  3. So, it was fine for Highlands and Cov Cath to play in a different classification in order to avoid travel and expenses but it wouldn't be Ok for Johnson Central and Ashland to do the same? Is there double standard here or I am reading something wrong.
  4. Well, Game is here and we are just hours away from this district championship match-up. How many posters on here will be at the game tonight. I for one will be.
  5. Johnson Central 36 to 6 with under a minute to go in the half.
  6. What has happened to Lincoln County this year?
  7. Any stats from this game?
  8. If the goal post were the center of the green, what would the yardage be?
  9. I think Lawrence will win their district. If they keep up playing the way that they have been, it could be an undefeated district season.
  10. Back up close to me Mr. official so I can tell you what I think of your last call.
  11. Well since you know that there was no taunting, why did Coach Keeton have to go to the home plate umpire a few innings before hand and discuss the taunting of his players by the very same player who did spike the ball near the head of the base runner. I was there too and got to see the play from about the same angle as you but a little higher and did see the ball near the baserunner's head. So, why read the sportsmanship bull crap if you are not going to enforce it.
  12. Raceland by as many they want it to be.
  13. Well, the officials did a poor job in the management of the State Championship game as far as the sportmanship rules go. The KHSAA dropped the ball on the penalty that was handed out here also. Did the KHSAA hand out sanctions on the umpires for allowing unsportsman like conduct by the player or players of one of the two participating teams? Just another way for the "Queen" and her court to show they handle things differently when the spot light is on. Bad decision by the KHSAA in my opinion.
