I was not at any of these games, and do not believe it is fair to comment as to whether any of these coaches were intentionally trying to "drill" these teams, or see how high they could score. There are times where you cannot help some things. However, I have seen instances where a coach shows no respect for another team, or IMO, the game itself. I am not in favor of a mercy rule, but I wish there would be more "class" in some coaches. This would eliminate the need for that rule.

I am so sorry to hear about Megan's injury. I have known her and her family for a long time. It is so rare to see the dedication and drive in this young lady to play after the injuries. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family during this time.

What controversy? Just because the season did not end with a trip to regional does not mean their was controversy. Disappointment is not controversy.

I echo the comments of everyone else. Jay is very enthusiastic, greatly motivated coach. I believe Bracken Co. made the right hire.

I like Mike Goins, Ken Catron, Tom Mitchell, & J.T. Taylor. They do a good job in whatever game they call, even though Goins mainly gets boys' games.

Here is to Coach Simms moving up to take the PC job. Is Simms in line for head coach or will they go outside the school?

After seeing them some this summer I think bench and conditioning will be a factor. Summertime fatigue is not the same as the regular season. I think their bench is young, but definitely has some talent. .

I believe Pendleton to be the favorite, but I have to agree with several members in this thread who will not count out Mike Reitz and Campbell County. Coach Reitz is a top notch coach who knows how to get his teams ready for the tournament.
