Harrison County is the cream of the crop, no doubt. Deming needs to improve on what was a disappointing season last year. Nicholas County is rebuilding their program, and I don't think Pendleton Co. will be the worst team in the district.

1) Harrison County- until a team steps up and shows the ability to beat them

2) Pendleton- young, but a lot of varsity experience returning

3) Deming- didn't reach potential last season

4) Nicholas- rebuilding this season

I agree Deming had a rather disappointing season, there were games they could've and should've won last year, remember a season ago some already thought Bracken County already had won at halftime at Brooksville, and the Lady Devils fought back and won that game? Although some felt there was some conterveresy at the end, but that showed me they can play if they put their heart into it.

They'll have to find someone to step it up after losing Maisie Insko to graduation. One Keisha Woods comes to mind. She's had several 20+ games last year and is as good as anybody on defense.

What controversy? Just because the season did not end with a trip to regional does not mean their was controversy. Disappointment is not controversy.

Ok I'll try to expalin it again, this was a regular season game at Bracken County, Deming was down I belive 18pts., some people figured the game was in the bag and started to leave at halftime, in the second half the lady devils fought back and Deming's Sonya Fithen stole the ball and shot a half court shot and Deming went on to win, BC's stasff questioned a "no call" by the officals (a possible foul), and the shot that Fithens made, that's the contervcersy of THAT game I was referring too.

Im saying Mac could win that district with 6th and 7th graders, he is that good of a coach. Larry Allison wasnt as successful as Mac and I don't think anyone will be after he is done.

Mac has done a great job, and should win it again this year, but the district definitely will be the weakest in the region from top to bottom every year.

Mac always has his team ready to play. Seed or Draw, to be number one you have to win on the hill. I believe the fight will be for second place in the district. I'm sure Harrison and Pendleton County would love to seed the district, but it would not be in the best interest of Deming and Nicholas County to vote for seeding.

You are starting to sound like some of the 10th regions northern fans that wear green in you're bragging.I would bet whatever that sixth graders from Harrison would not win this district.Mac is a good coach but this is a little too much don't you think?

Heard recently that Jesse Jett tore her ACL in conditioning and will be out for most if not all of the season. That will be a big loss for the Fillies.
