Glad to see this school participate in the regional tournament after the beginning of the season tragedy.

I went to the game both teams kinda came out flat. But in the 3rd quarter it was the Massey/Mitchell Show. Travis Massey and Nathan Mitchell made some very crucial key plays that put the Devils up by 11 and then went on to a score of 42-29 by the final buzzer. Both these teams were coming off a 2 game win streak. Deming to overtime home wins against Bracken County and Paris. Nicholas County on a 2 game win with a win over what some say was a very good Menifee County Team. Congradulations Coach Massey and the Devils. :dancingpa :thumb:

I was at the game and I have one question devilman.Why won't the guys throw the ball down low to JM?He was posted up many times in the first half and they wouldn't give him the ball.I left at halftime but Deming could have scored more by taking it inside some of the time.

I agree with you, They need to feed Jordan the ball more inside, Travis also posted up inside and didn't get the ball either.

But Jordan was having a hard time hitting them down low there for a while.

May I ask what happened at the beginning of the season for Deming??

Deming ballteam has had a lot of things happen, Such as the tragic death of Coach Massey's mother which not only effected him, but the Ball team, and the community, The team seems to just starting to get over it, the preseason wins over a "bigger" school in Garrard County and the win over Louisville Holy Cross in Rupp Arena gave them some hope, but thru the season we have lost a starting player in Billy Graves(stress fracture),and now a rumor Coach Massey maybe stepping down as coach, probably due to the events that happened this season also with his wife still recovering from the accident that claimed Ms. Leota MAssey.

Thanks for filling me in. I do wish Deming good luck tomorrow night as they take on the Wildcats. But I will have to say I see the Wildcats going for three back to back District Championships.

This may not be appropriate now but is Johnson taking over next year? I heard Massey might hang up. Not to take anything away from the Devils, I always love their fire in March. And I see a bright future.
