Final- North opened up in the new stadium with a good win(they are all good). Especially to a team that was 0-10 3 years ago. New field and facilities are amazing and the crowd was in Black Hole form. TV crews were all there, only thing that wasn't there was the scoreboard. Had to use a portable one - also thought about have the cheerleaders hold up score cards. Big game next week Vs Western Hills but they come to the Black Hole at the new Field of Dreams. They are doing a great job- all the coaches in this district have kept thier teams focused, fundamental, and fighters. All 4 teams lift hard and do the things you have to do to be successful. Spencer and North are only 5-6 yrs old, and Hills and Henry have turned losing teams into winners. It is an exciting district!

All 4 teams are tough, homefield advantage could be the difference in some of these.

Yes they are solid as well just young- staff down there is doing a great JOB!

Upset week South wins a close one

Spencer Co

South outplayed North- North was lucky to win

North will need to play better than last week or they will leave Spencer Co with a loss and a District Championship out the window. I believe the Mustangs will be ready- they are always up for District games.

Oldham is rolling should win this one as well.

Cograts to Oldham Co and Coach Brown. This was a battle of the pupil vs the teacher. Coach MCkee was Matt Brown's coach at OC. Good win the the Colonels.:thumb:

South Oldham is pretty good- just have a brutal schedule.

Maybe Ballard and Jackson did a good job against them. Has anyone thought of that. Ballard has the talent to compete with Male and showed it Friday.

Thanks NorthFootball- Mustangs must focus and take care of a tough Spencer team this week that knocked off Western Hills.

They are for real- I have seen them- solid- fast and well coached.

It is easy to coach from the stands- Coach Poynter does not need your help. If other players would step up then maybe he would not have to play defense. But, I bet this is 1A ball and a lot of guys play both ways. Obviously the JV QB is not ready or this kid could play HB. Coach P will be coaching long after people are done throwing him under the bus for having a young inexperienced team.
