  1. There are rumblings around the 8th All A Tournament that Owen, Carroll, and Walton-Verona will not be in next year.
  2. Teagan Moore scored 35 on 13 of 15 shooting. Brax Ward added 18 for the Rebels. Gallatin was led by Kellen Dossett’s 23 points. Matthew Griffin and Kasen Baker both added 20. The Rebels were 31 of 50 from the field for 62%. The Wildcats kept within distance by hitting 16 of 32 from beyond the arc.
  3. The young Wildcats had their highest scoring output of the season and advance to Wednesday night’s 7:30 semifinal against Owen County. Kellen Dossett led the Cats with 28 points. Matt Griffin added 23, Jonah Brinker 20, and Kasen Baker 16. I believe Wilcoxson had 27 and Horn 22 for the Raiders.
  4. A lot of my friends said they were going to watch the football game. I told them be careful what you wish for, Cats would be lucky to reach double digits.
  5. I’m thinking of going tomorrow. Could someone post game times?
  6. Paul McCartney & Wings Over America Tour. May 1976.
  7. The Wildcats still showing their youth. If I were guessing Griffin and Dossett combined for around 50 or so.
  8. These two meet again in 17 days in the first round of the All A in Warsaw.
  9. Not really an upset considering it was in Bedford. Gallatin is 1-5 although the schedule has been brutal. Wilcoxson (32) and Horn (28) combine for 60.
  10. WV was 15 for 50 from the field, including 2 for 15 on threes, per Riherds
  11. Sophomore Jonah Brinker led Gallatin with a career high 25 points. His 5 three pointers in the second helped Gallatin pull away. Fellow sophomore Matt Griffin had 16 points and 8 assists. Junior Eli Newman contributed 14 points and 10 rebounds and junior Kellen Dossett added 12 points, 8 assists, and 8 rebounds. The Wildcats tough early season schedule continues when they travel to Owen County on Tuesday.
  12. Brady Unitas Elway Montana Namath To me, Unitas’ streak of 47 consecutive games with a touchdown pass is the greatest stat in NFL history. Remember, the streak happened from December 9, 1956 until December 4, 1960. He also tossed 110 TD passes during the streak.
  13. I firmly believe the days of huge crowds are over regardless of venue. It’s just a different world. And whoever came up with the tip off times for the second games of sessions and handling of the cheering sections needs to reevaluate for next year. Oh yeah, been saying for years Ticketmaster is the devil.
  14. I think I’m correct in saying Kentucky dropped the Lady Cats nickname in the previous century. All women’s and girl’s teams should follow suit.
  15. Being from Gallatin the thought of traveling to Goshen for a “District” game is little to much. Heck, Buckner is too far as well. Also, Gallatin and Owen should not be in separate districts. The rivalry has become must see basketball. Yes, they could still play twice, but the seeding aspect makes the games much more intense.
  16. Dossett surprisingly played for Gallatin in the finals on Saturday and had 13 points and 10 assists.
  17. Does anyone know if they will be selling tickets at the door?
  18. I can’t comprehend that North gets a bye to the regional tournament.
  19. Owen surrounded her in the low post and picked off several entry passes. Some that weren’t stolen sailed out of bounds. She wasn’t manhandling Ferguson and Moore.
  20. I find it hard to believe that the 32nd doesn’t play a round robin within the District to decide seeding. Not saying Grant couldn’t have won at WV or SK, but they basically got the 1 seed by beat both those teams on their home floor.
  21. No surprise here. Game was in Dry Ridge and the Braves had the best player on the floor. I believe Grant earned the top seed in the 32nd District Tournament.
