Moore passed Williamstown’s Freddie Hale’s record of 3233 points which stood for 50 years. The record fell with a minute remaining during Owen’s 67-49 victory over Trimble County. The game was stopped and Hale, who was in attendance, was escorted to the court to present the game ball to Moore and pose for a photo.

The 2 1/2 hours between tip offs is beyond ludicrous. Some games last year had 45-50 minutes in between. -

When Gallatin defeated Shelby County in the opening round of the regional tournament in 2007 it was the Wildcats first region victory since they went to the Sweet 16 in 1959. Then they proceeded to win 7 more under Jon Jones. -
8th Region Week 10 Review
Mack The Knife replied to Adrian Woj Burner's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Simon Kenton played Grant and Walton-Verona at home and are the 1 seed. Grant played Simon Kenton and Walton-Verona at home last and was the 1 seed. I’m sensing a trend here. No way district seeding should be decided by home court advantage in the regular season. All districts should play each other twice. -
North Oldham 53 Grant County 47

A bad offensive foul call on Hammonds that would have been an and one with under 4:00 to play certainly didn’t help Grant’s cause.
