Watch the referee take out a Gallatin County player at the end of the video! Block or charge?!

I agree that it was an upset. Owen County was definitely upset with the loss.

It is now a t shirt in Warsaw. Alas, I didn’t get any royalties.

Is the video viewable?

Yes.

What a game, glad I made it out to this one!! I did not expect this to be a close one, let alone an upset.

GC’s supporting cast all showed up tonight, which put them in a position to beat OC. Griffin and Dossett were awesome for GC, both had impressive performances. I thought Dossett was done for the night after taking a hit to the head/face before half, but he didn’t skip a beat when he returned. And WOW, the Griffin kid hit two clutch shots at the end.

Moore was dominant for OC as expected, but his supporting cast did not show up tonight. If I had to guess he had 35-40 of OC’s 57 points.

Have to applaud GC for the game plan, I wonder if other teams might try a similar strategy against OC in the regional tournament.

Congrats to GC and good luck to both teams in the regional tournament!

Congrats to Gallatin!

Great win and awesome coaching for GC!  Huge win and a ton of experience with their coaching staff!

Moore finished with 41 I believe.
GREAT game from both teams!

We all say it all the time - in HS sports, ANYTHING can happen.   They're HS kids.

And yet - not a one of us (except for the Gallatin County faithful, perhaps) really saw this one coming.

KUDOS to Coach Sullivan and his squad!   What a tremendous upset!    This is WHY WE PLAY THE GAME and don't just dole out the awards to the teams with the best RPI.....

This also creates an amazing situation in the region tournament....

Congratulations Mr. District Champ.....would you like the 17th-ranked team in the state (Collins), the 18th-ranked team in the state (Grant), or perhaps you would prefer 24-win Owen County????  LOL....this is going to be an AMAZING Region 8 tourney.

Greatest upset ever in the 31st District Tournament???
