Where: Trimble County High School 

It almost seems like a broken record. Outside of Henry County, these two have dominated the district for many, many years. Since 2000, they have allotted for 15 District Titles between one another. It feels like it comes in waves, for a few years it is Owen County, then Gallatin County, but right now it seems to be that we are in the middle of an Owen County wave. 

This team has been more than dominant the last two years in the 31st, not losing a single game both years. Majority of this is from Teagan Moore. The 2x 8th Region POTY has been on a roll for the past 2 years, and I am sure that he will not be holding anything back in this one, looking for him and the team's second district title in a row. They faced Trimble County in the semifinals, and after trailing at halftime they fought back and won the contest by 18 points. 

For this young Gallatin squad, this is fresh waters for many of the players. However, it is not for the fan-base. They have won 8 district titles since 2000, 4 of them coming since 2017. The Wildcats are led by jr. guard Kellen Dossett and soph. guard Matthew Griffin. Tonight against Eminence in the semifinals, it was Griffins night to shine, scoring 32 points in their tightly contested battle. 

This is 100% Owen County's game to lose, but can the 'Cats travel to Bedford and pull off the upset?

    Besides Moore, Ward has really stepped up this year and filled some shoes. Surprised at how much of a non-factor Shelton has been this year. Should be an exciting game!

    Hopefully Rebels can get Moore some help tonight with good games from Ward and Shelton so that he can be fresh for next week.
