Pretty sure I saw on Max Preps they are #31 in the state (of South Carolina). If that is the case I would expect another 52-7 score.

This is the fourth game of the Bluegrass Classic to be held at PJCS on Saturday the 25th. It will be the season opener for the Silver Foxes who finished 10-3 last year. They put a lot of points on the board last year as a AAAA team. One ranking has them as the preseason #31 team in SC. Reported strengths are strong OL & DL and WRs. Weakness is the secondary. One of the game promoters told me that DF runs an offense similar to Trinity which made the matchup appealing to St. X.

Two way players worked out nicely for Trinity vs X in the '05 title game. :thumb: Brentwood's *7 played both ways and even if he was dog tired he was better than most.

Whatever Coach B said to the guys at halftime WORKED! Defense was amazing in second half. So many weapons on offense too. Way too many penalties... both teams had a bunch. refs missed several calls... unless holding is legal this year. Brentwood fans are a class act and they had some serious talent on the team. Anybody hear what happened to their QB.. he left limping. The Eagles would be top contenders for 6A crown if they were in Kentucky and Trinity moved to Conference USA.

Good week 1 matchup here. Central has the bulk of their defense back but big shoes to fill on offense. Manual will be decent by the end of the season but I think the Jackets can get them in August. I'll say Central - 20, Manual - 16.

Any details? Did the defense score? Did Highlands cross midfield in 1st half? How did Trinity o-line look? THX

I will be surprised as I have heard about the passing attack gearing up for more years than I can count. Big numbers vs. Fern Creek etc., might happen but X is a pound and ground team. There has been a lot of wasted talent at wr for the Tigers.

No intent to be competitve? Could not disagree more with that comment. I'll give you that no "official score" is kept, but everyone leaving a scrimmage has a darn good idea of who won the dual practice. Watch a Trinity vs Highlands dual practice and tell me if your opinion changes any.
