I would bet the decline is the format. Go back to the original format of semi's on Saturday morning and championship on Saturday night and I think the crowds would be better.
As I said on another thread, he is the best player in NKY and it's not even debatable, and this week also proved he is one of the very best in the state.
I was only giving how Vegas sets the line, not saying that it will be right. I will go with my original line of 29+. Cal will play his starters 30 minutes or more and UK will get by 35 or more before the bench comes in.
The only way NKU stays within 18 of UK, is if UK takes their foot off the gas and plays the bench 12-15 minutes. Then it would be a 18 point spread, but if the starters play 30 minutes or more, than it will be more in line with the 29+ spread.
There is absolutely no way the bold part will ever happen. The KHSAA isn't going to put the Girls' Sweet 16 in Rupp and especially not the same week as the Boys'.
The Boy's Sweet 16 is their bread and butter and they won't mess with the current schedules.
