  1. The 9th region champion will be either CovCath or Cooper, everyone else is playing for 3rd place.
  2. Ballard would still win by 15 with or without Miles playing for Walton. A friend in Louisville said they are the real deal.
  3. Congrats to her!!! Always love hearing about NKY kids getting full rides to continue their education and play basketball.
  4. Does Coach Ruthsatz have any other younger kids? The reason for my question is would he consider if presented possible college positions when his kids finish high school? Thanks in advance.
  5. Had some good conversations with Ray about basketball officiating. Prayers to his family and friends. RIP Ray.
  6. I definitely think Cooper is the only team that can compete with CovCath for the 9th region title. I am looking forward to seeing these two teams duke it out.
  7. My idea of close is within 10. So, in your opinion Lawnboy, do you think anyone can come this close to CovCath?
  8. I haven't seen Cooper or CovCath, but it sure sounds like CCH might have distanced themselves from Cooper right now.
  9. Very serious question: but can anyone even come close to CovCath in the 9th region?
  10. Walton is the #1 team IMO. Best boys' team they have had in quite a while.
  11. No Chad Ohmer in the top 10? Somewhat surprised by this, but I have never had any faith in the Cats Pause Previews.
  12. I hope you are well now and can make it this year. :-)
  13. Good team perhaps, but the 9th is a two horse race again between CovCath & Cooper.
  14. 100% agree with you. My son loved playing for Tim when he was the freshman coach at Scott in 2003-04.
  15. It really shouldn't be on him to worry about stuff like this. He has to do what is best for him and what gives him the most fun. His former teammates will be fine and move on.
  16. I will tell you why they should; because they are teenagers ranging from 14-18 and they get this chance one time in their lifetime. The KHSAA has been losing the battle on transfers as most if not all get turned over in court. I suspect before too long that transfer rules will be gone completely.
  17. Congrats to the young man for getting a full ride for education and opportunity to continue to play basketball.
  18. Kids should go where they want and what is best for them, not what is best for their "hometown".
