Congrats, Devils on a great win and good luck to you and the Rams as you both approach playoffs. It seemed that Raceland lost their momentum and imo started the 2nd half without focus, thus the offsides penalties that put them at 2nd and long. Win or lose, this was a great community effort and both AD's should be commended for all their hard work.

Thoughts and prayers to the family from Raceland.

Sometimes the most obvious is the one most often overlooked. DSI (Distinctive Special Tees) is just a block from Raceland High School and has contributed to many fund raisers for the Mighty Rams for several years. They have many shirts on display and ready to purchase.

My family goes to church with the Crisp's and they are wonderful people. I'll put a bug in his ear on Sunday that the Raceland people want the RamBurger to stay on the menu!

Thank you OR for the kudos about my girls, but this was Paige VanHoose who is currently a sr. at Raceland. She is also the pitcher for our softball team. She is always upbeat and smiling! Her family is very respectable also. Great job Raceland Lady Rams! This volleyball program rocks!

Not sure what grade, but Boyles is an excellent 3 sport athlete. It is nice to see him making a name for himself as QB...

Raceland off to a semi-good start. They need to play smarter the second half and shake off some of their jitters.

One would think a true football fan wouldn't miss any of his team's games, just because the facility was small, in his opinion. I don't get to go to every game, but when the opportunity to go comes about, the facility, or lack there of, wouldn't deter my attending. btw, I happen to think Raceland's facilites are much better than some, if not most.

Even college softball has a fall season......

Just spoke with Shannon's grandfather. It seems the hospital called after the radiologist read the x-ray and he has a fracture in his lower leg. He is in a cast. His grandfather didn't mention the MCL, but I sure hate to hear that. He is a senior and is very disappointed. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Large family. Tough loss for the Rams.

The broken leg diagnosis must have come about since yesterday. I spoke to his grandfather and his report was "thankfully just a deep bruise." Sorry to hear that it has changed. He is an awfully good kid. Prayers for a quick recover!

I didn't vote because I am on the fence on this one. As a tomboy, I would loved to have played football. But I can't say I'd enjoy the idea of my girls playing h.s. football. They did play powderpuff football, and hubby and I sat on pins and needles the whole time fearing injuries that may hinder their upcoming basketball and softball seasons. Some girls' bball coaches don't allow their players to play powderpuff. Just because someone has the right to do something, doesn't make it in their best interest to do so. For me, imo, I am glad my girls didn't want to play h.s. football. (they were president and vice president of the pep club tho!)
