My son suffers terribly from fall allergies and his nose bleeds horribly when campfire season starts. We tried everything we know and finally tried the nasal spray, veramist. Cut 90% of all starches from your diet. (potatoes, bread, corn, carrots, any sugary foods, etc.) Drink on water and coffee, unsweetened tea and reduce portion sizes.

We did a bible study on "The Andy Griffith Show" a few years ago. The first 20 minutes we watched a show and then study was based on whatever the moral for that story was. It was very interesting and a favorite bible study of mine.

Rebel K, when my mother was very ill she signed a permission slip of sorts that allowed her children to not just be told results of reports, but I could even get her chart from the nurses desk and read it. My brother, an attorney, also had power of attorney to take care of her business at home while she was in the hospital. Being able to read the reports, I became aware of the results as soon as they were charted as opposed to waiting on the doctor to make rounds. This way I had time to think about and list any questions I may have about the results in the 3 - 5 minutes the dr. was in the room. When I read that you hadn't received the results of the seizure tests, I felt my blood boil as it did when I initially had a problem getting any results for my mother. Now, I understand HIPA laws are to protect the patient and that is why they wouldn't let me read the charts or tell me the results. However, who do you think they wanted to sign the releases before each and every procedure/test they ran on my mother? So I could sign for the test, to release their liability, but I couldn't see the results until my mother was able to sign a consent form. Ironic?

I had to chose democrat or liberal, even tho I consider myself a conservative democrat.

We had a discussion in my Anatomy class last semester regarding donor organs. The question was: if someone receives a heart transplant, do they "feel" their feelings or those of the donor? If someone has an eye transplant, how does it effect what the "see"? (eye transplants are only experimental in monkeys as of now.) Very interesting lecture and in the end, no one knows what changes may take place. Some say their recipeint's personalities change, their like and dislikes change, etc. How much impact this places on a person's mind and psyche is still to be determined. I wouldn't necessarily start blaming the wife tho.

We rent through this website: http://www.vrbo.com. (vacation rentals by owner) Click on the state you want to visit, and then the city. Rates are a little lower because the owner takes care of everything and no realty charge is assessed. We stay on Shore Drive. It is a 7 mile drive to Broadway at the Beach and downtown MB, but Shore drive is a dead end, the breach is nice and clean and it is away from all the traffic. Ocean Annie's has a live band every night and the bar is outside. We sit on the beach and listen to the band. Even my 18 yr olds say this is the best relaxing vacation. We have also stay at Barefoot landing. Their condos are huge and the resort has a basketball court, tennis courts and every building has a pool. It isn't on the beach, but during peak months, a shuttle bus runs to the beach and back once an hour. It is good for those that don't like all the sand being tracked in the room and the car. It will be great to stay here when my vacations are a month long and not just a week.

My family went to Dick's Last Resort. I had heard great reviews and we waited for over an hour to be seated. The rudeness of the staff didn't bother me because I had been told and was expecting it. I was however, also expecting an edible meal. The food was horrible and we could have had a seafood buffet for the price we paid. Don't get me wrong, we all agree we are glad we went, but it was a one time only thing for my family. The last trips to MB, my family has eaten at Senior' Frogs at Broadway on the Beach. With youngsters, I'd try to go for the noon meal, but my kids are older and we all enjoy the late evening meal there. They have a band that puts on a good show and includes the audience too. Last summer, about 12 graduating seniors went to MB with us and two other couples and we all had an absolute blast.

We just made our reservations for July. We always stay on Shore Drive. It is a dead end and mostly family atmosphere. I noticed some parents digging a shallow hole in the sand and filling it with water for their toddlers to play in. This gave the kids water to splash around in and gave the parents peace of mind away from the tides.
