I remember the Ramblers. In fact both my older brothers were Ramblers. I think it changed to Rams by the time I was in high school tho. About fifteen years ago, I came across two football films of the Ramblers and converted them VHS for my brothers as a Christmas present. They were actually in the films and it made Christmas for the whole family that year!

Here's wishing the Lady Royals good luck down state. I am positive you ladies will represent the 16th Region very well.

The concession stand worker (whose son is a safety patrol kid and boy scout too) apologized for the call made against Russell when Austin Blair got tripped and should have gone to the foul line for a 1 and 1 late but instead called Gill for sticking his hip out as he turned to roll toward the basket, you dont make that call in that situation :irked: :laugh: just cracks me up!

I have no idea what Kasey's reason(s) were for leaving the team. But IMO, I think too many times, coaches push kids to play more than one sport because they are good or stars in each sport. It isn't always the best idea for the athlete tho. I know that Aaron Petry played basketball after signing with Ohio State to play football. Ohio State didn't like that very much. It's just an opinion, but why risk the injury? It is the same concept as playing your starters when you're ahead by 40 or 50.

If Kasey were my son, and had a future in football like he does, why risk injury during basketball season? He needs to be in the weightroom concentrating on football AND his future.

I am not one to blast the refs, because as Aunt Bea says, I've never read the rule book. BUT in the last two weeks, I have seen more refs overturn calls than I had ever noticed before. Do we need instant replay? 99% of the time, the first call is the correct one. As silly as it may sound, is there a senior ref? One that can call the shots over the other one or two? The guard was already on the sidelines with the ball in his hand when another ref overturned the out of bounds call. It occurred at a very critical time in the game.

Option 1. If Option 2 were in effect, the richer school districts would win every time. (buying votes, etc.)
