From what I understand the kid really didn't have a choice but to return or not be eligible.

As, I stated in another thread. They must be able to control the line better esp against the Harlan Co's, they also have to be able to throw the ball more. Defensively, against HC looked good for part of the time and other part they got sliced like bread, so not sure how many defenses they play. I don't have much to go on since the Harlan game was the only game I saw them play. I don't know what they lost from last year but #17, #34, #10, #8, and # 21 were play makers. I know Harris is back and IMO they go as he goes.

In fairness to me, I said "could " be. I "could" win the lottery this weekend but who knows. Also, playing against the best competition really means nothing if you ask me.... if the kid is good he is good. I don't think the 20 or so schools who offered him looked at his competition and said "oh he aint that good but we will offer him anyway." Most of the top rated guys in the country play or played against lesser talent. I have no personal point to promote the kid I just know that from what I have seen, he is a great talent. One that Coach Stoops and Brown made a point to come see the first week they were in the state. Reading the message boards from around the country, everyone from Hoke, to Stoops, to Saban has called about the kid, a few even coming to Berea, KY to visit.

Damien Harris could be the best player to come from KY, ever. The kid is legit as they get. I drove to Harlan Co to watch him play last year. He made HC look foolish at times, if he had any help, MS might have beat them. (HC peeps I said might, relax haha) In that game, he got really no help from up front and did most of it himself, from my opinion. If he stays healthy and goes to the right system, kid has a shot at the league. All IMO of course.

I'm hearing that he may not have as much backed out as other things happened... I can't really go into it but let's just say, homework wasn't done on both ends. Source someone very close to him telling me.

Spin... I too know of a kid right now facing this.. It's unreal bc it's clearly a personal attack by the school the kid left at this point.

Honestly, I think it depends on the school. Depends on where the player is from or going to, also how big of a fuss the school wants to make, or how many "buddies" they have inside the KHSAA. As with most things I think it has a lot to with politics.

Was a great game... Holmes hits their FT its over in reg. Seems like whoever comes out of the top half of the bracket has it better. Bottom half (Ballard/Mont Co) will have to play 4 games in 4 days.

Sounds like if WC can take care of the ball, its a game.

I was there as well and MC even with some of the bench guys, were still trying to press some. Oh well, MC doesnt impress me at all to be honest. The District they play in has to be the weakest in the STATE. When they get up against a team that runs an offense and can play some D, MC is in trouble Typical MC year run thru the season and get beat when it matters. MC never does anything in the post season, in any sport.

Going from one nut house to another... If I were him I'd run far away from that school! Dunbar is horrible from what I hear of ppl who have been there.

They tried to get him out last year. Some people who give to the program wanted him out and made threats they wouldnt give anymore until he was gone. Thats what Im being told from someone very close to the situation.
