2011 Junior Running back Dalyn Dawkins of Louisville Trinity High School...Dalyn was an honorable mention All-American by Sports Illustrated and named 2nd team All-State by the Courier-Journal in Louisville...Dalyn was also named First Team All-Catholic League by LouisvilleCatholicSports.com 1st team All-State BGP 1st team all district and 2nd team All- State AP.

 

Dalyn rushed for 1,901 yards on 237 carries for an average of 8.0 yards per carry...He also notched 34 touchdowns and added 20 receptions for 133 yards

 

Dawkins could possibly be the state's best player pound for pound

The line doesn't get enough credit on Shelbyville Road, the skill players are good but the line is great. People only care about Quick, Wright, And Dawkins when their o-line is responsible. It sickens me:puke:

Good looking player..Maybe they can stay away from the other central ky kids they are recruiting and before someone says something. I know for a 100% fact it's true.

When Quick, Wright, and Dawkins all have Great a year next season what will your excuse be then? I know you are a die hard X fan but C'mon man give credit when it's due. Everybody can see that these guys are the real deal. Futhermore when this trio were freshman with a below average oline they still destroy everyone on the scheduled including your Tigers to the tune of 28-7 calling dogs off with 8 min left in the 4th quarter. last but not least all 3 of them were super stars on the youth level.

That O-Line was VERY good. But this kid would take pretty much ANY team to another level -- good O-Line or bad. He's got an explosiveness I've rarely seen in a high school kid.

It's really sad that you are so used to watching Glaser ball that you are such a poor judge of great football talent. And please remember this little gem. Since Glaser's tip of his cap in Bowling Green 2 years ago Trinity has soundly beaten your Tigers 4 times. In those games Trinity has kicked 20 extra points, Glaser ball has scored 19 total points.

You're right. Fortunately I know just how appreciated those 5 linemen were by every non-line player at Trinity were and it rubs me the wrong way when a know nothing tries to stir something up when nothing's there. I purposely didn't use the word skill players because unlike some other places that shall no longer be mentioned Trinity's linemen are skill players as well.

That's why I always use: "Skill Players" for Linemen and "Talent Players" for the receivers and backs. Players have to learn "Skills" to play the line well. The players like Dawkins and Quick are very "Talented", more so then "Skilled"

 

OL/DL = Skilled

RB/QB/WR = Talent
