1st the Administration need to decide to support Football. They need to hire the best person that applies for the job. They need to hire 4 full time Assistant Coaches. They need to supply enough funds to have a nice wt. room and wt. program. The person who takes the job needs to be committed enough to stay for a while because there are lots of hard work ahead. They need to honor all present contracts. I heard they are not going to play McCreary Central next year. Good Luck to New Coach and staff.

PEOPLE WHO WORK AT THE HIGH SCHOOL!!!!! They need all working the halls, talking to these kids everyday about playing Football.

Then Jackson County will continue to be at the Bottom of Programs State Wide in Football. The only way to get better is a comittment from the Top with the total package, nothing held back, then you have a chance to be successful.IMO

In 2011 Dist. Teams, Breathitt Co.,Knott Co., Morgan Co., and Magoffin Co. Out of Dist. they played Belfry, Lawrence Co., Middlesboro, McCreary Central, Paris, Hart Co. and Shelby Valley. Won 1 Game, Rest blow out.

Not real Smart. They need to play the Dist. Teams and then the weakest Teams they can find.

They played Belfry in the 1st round of the playoffs. Unavoidable there, but not sure about Lawrence.
