I've not heard much..heard a few bits of chatter tonight. I'll say if true, it's not good for SW. Imo. Again nothing but rumor at this point.

Nope, out of school Friday and tomorrow. Not heard much since Thursday.

HD, this is true but rumor is they are cutting jobs this year. So who knows. .I don't think it's French as much as jobs for his coaches.

The way I understand it, Ellis the Principal wants it done ASAP. I'm pretty sure LF was the last one to interview.

I'm not sure on the weight part but what I know, jobs will be hard to come by. Plus they just gave isap to another basketball coach. Edit: as for weights part, they never did in the past.

Pp only reason I see is lack of jobs in school for Fball coaches and lack of in school weight program on why French wouldn't accept.

All interviews taking place today. I know the following have interviewed today. I believe they are interviewing 7 or 8, not sure. So that leaves 3 mystery. Dwight Engle (old middle school coach at Southern) Boomer...? Coach from Anderson CO Foley, coach from Northern Middle Mcpeek coach from Fairview. Kriby Crowder (Never heard of this guy) Larry French Ray Graham

I know of 3 coaches interviewing for it, and was told they already know who they want but just waiting on their guy to accept. Seems to be more buddy buddy system working at SW.

Don't believe everything you read about this. The OC fits much better to his style at UM then Borges did. Was a relationship there but it wasn't necessarily with the Harris family.... Imo, UK has a small chance to get Him.

I know of a lot of names. French is not one I've heard. Especially, considering some of his assistants have applied.

I'd be very surprised if it was anyone but Smith or Holcomb.

I am not trying to insult you or this board but I am just going on what I know. Trust me I know a a lot about SW bc of the people I know. I am just telling you the facts. Yes, the TOP programs as you so sarcastically put it have OC/DC coaches who do this and the HC does the admin things. At those TOP schools does the HC know what Offense is going to be ran each week? Does the HC at those TOP schools know what Defense is going to be ran each week? Yes they do, IN this case Stephens a lot of times didn't know and didn't care to know. Again, I don't expect you to listen or believe me and I understand your point but in this case it wasn't the case. And after Anderson, haha You'd be surprised on who inquired about that job but wasn't given the opportunity.

That is exactly what I was told to from people more familiar with SW. Basically was told Stephens handled the day to day administration stuff, while a few of the assistant actually handled the game planning.

Spoke to some people in the know. They say it wasn't an option, he was pushed.

PP he is rumored to be close at Madison Central but if he gets call at FTH he'd be crazy not to take it.
