Great news!!! I'm so happy for him and his parents. He will get a great education at Georgetown and I believe he will see the field earlier as well. P.S. Henry said congrats...she is too busy working out and mentioned she will post later.

He has several options and is taking his time to make sure it's the right fit for him.

Congrats to Brandon, some school is going to get one heck of a player when he decides where he wants to spend the next 4- 5 years. I know Dayton would love to have him and it would be a great fit for this young man!!!

A special thanks to Jeff Schlosser for all the hard work he puts into the program and stepping up to represent the senior parents along with Cris. I agree, next years team is going to surprise alot of people!!!

OK little guy is not the best way to discribe him...I just can't get the picture out of my mind with him going against James (the size difference) and how he played with so much heart all year. Sorry Cam!!!:dancingpa

Gryche11, It was the best high school football game I have ever been too. The atmosphere was outstanding and I could go on about several other players that made this such a special game. O- Schlosser, Grubbs, Combs, Hahn, Meyers, Collinsworth, Buten,Drennen, Gold, Streeter,Hogue D - Dierig, Fennell, Snyder, Johnson, Roller, Rosenhagen, Sullivan, Abner, Alford,Bruns,Seidl,Quinllen,Beck A total team effort that resulted in a huge victory for Highlands!!! P.S. sorry if I forgot someone...

Wish we could make the game but we have other plans. I want to wish Hunter Schlosser, Brandon Roller and John Drennen the best of luck and enjoy the game!!! Fill me in when you get home...Go KY.

Hoosierbirdfan, The players appreciate the recognition but I think it bothers some of the parents and fans more than it does the players.

I supported Buckler being mentioned but I don't support picking on another player that made the team. Please don't try to use Collinsworth as an example. First of all he had well over 1,000 yards on the season and secondly he did it with very few carries. His name has nothing to do with it, if it did he would of been 1st Team. I don't want to get into comparing players because it isn't fair to the kids involved.

He played six games at QB and just because he got hurt does this make him any less of a player. Your right it's not hard to shoot back either. Look at his stats if your into that. Every 8 times he touched the ball he scored. Six passing TD's, 10 rushing td's, 1 receiving TD and 2 kick-off returns. Take the passing attemps away and every 6 times he touched the ball he scored. The kid only missed two games after injuring his elbow and came back to play another position. Most kids would have packed it in for the year but he wanted to help his team wherever they needed him.
