You cant tell me that soccer hasn't hurt Corbin Football. You all used to have a lot more kids out for football. Some of the people there said that you won't see the effects right away, but after a few years when the little kids start playing soccer instead of football and they keep playing soccer it has to take away from some of the skilled players. Plus they expect to play on the football fields and tear it up. we don't wont soccer in Rockcastle and when we do get it, it will be hte downfall of the program. My biggest fear is that one day my kid will want to play soccer.

Lexington Catholic's defensive line just gave up too many rushing yards this year, Kramer will get the ball at 15 to 30 times and will get at least a 150 yards and a 3 to 4 touchdown performance. I say Highlands will win this one over 20.

No way Rock can beat Bell. Our kids were so upset when they heard Bell beat Madison Southern because we know we were lucky to even play with Bell the first time. Bell is just too dominate this year. I wouldn't be suprised to see them in Louisville in December. Who do you think Bell would rather play, Lex. Cath., or Highlands?

I would first like to say that Coach Hart is a CLASS ACT. I would also like to thank some of you posters for the bulletin board material. Our kids really took it personal when they were accused of reading hand signals last year. They also liked the one that said "I don't believe it was the Ashland players that were laying on the ground crying after last years game. They were too busy dancing and celebrating their victory" I really think Holbrook is a great QB, he is very tough. The players were also very gracious after the game. They were all class acts. Ian is a great QB,, but in him I wouldn't trust. In GOD we trust. Putnam Stadium is a great place to play, I was impressed with it last year.

I guess the real reason I dont like it is because it show more special treatment to basketball and letting their kids out of school, especially when the football fianls were movedto keep kids in school. It kind of contradicts what the KHSAA says.

I don't like the new finals set up and here is why. 4A @ 7:30 on Friday 3A @ 11:30 am on Saturday 2A @ 3 pm Sat. 1A @ 7:30 pm sat. The reason it is like this is because the KHSAA said it caused missed class instruction and didn' t kids missing school. Well then why does the Sweet 16 have games on Wed. during school and Thur. during school? The same is said for the All A state in Richmond. THis is for boys and girls teams. Do they not know how cold it gets at 7:30? Isn't what is good for one good for all? I may be wrong about the time on the 2A game but still all 3 games are played on Sat.

Hope it isn't true. I pray for every kid to be safe and healthy before and after the game. I just hope everone remembers that they are just kids and no one deserves to get hurt. Hope he is ok.

Just curious but what positon players graduated last year from Ashland? I know one lineman did and he played in the KY All star game. Plus has Ashland played against anyone that went no huddle this year.

Very well put. This is probably the best post so far. Lets just talk about the game on Friday. By the way, why does the Ashland fans have such a grudge towards us. This isn't even a rivaly game for us, just another game to try and get to the region championship. Our rivaly games are in the other bracket playing. (Bell and Madsion Southern)

Rockcastle's players and coaches know that Ashland has a real good football team. We also have a lot of respect for them and know it will be very hard to win there. By seeing game film I htink the Ashland QB is on eof the best players in the region and that Ashland has a real good defense, might be better than their offense. Everyone in Rockcastle knows how tough it will be. Lets talk about the players and quit beating a dead subject. Since most don't know the whole story dont speculate on what is TRUE and what is NOT. How many people do you think will be at the game Friday?

show me the proof and I will personally apologize Fridaynight. As for someonwe telling you this , well hey my aunt's brother's uncle once told me something too. Don't believe everything you hear. Once again Rockcastle has never had to pay a fine to the KHSAA or was ever even contacted by them last year for anything. It is also common knowledge that a lot of people make up stuff. I guess since you don't have proof you shouldn't just say anything. I think Ashland has a great team and as for last year Rockcastle shouldn't have event been on the same field as Ashland. We played over our heads. We just got outdone in the second half. I won't step down to AT41's level and bad mouth anyone and make false statements.

I never called AT41 a liar, I simply said that Rockcastle being fined was a lie. I personally asked Coach Larkey and he said "NO" Rockcastle was and has never been fined by the KHSAA for anything. If it is true I will be the first person to apologize, but I won't have to apologize because what he said never happened. I didnt think this site allowed people to make up thins and say about other programs without first having proof.
