We are going to Tazewell, TN that weekend for a boys weekend. I do want to come down this summer and play though. We will work something out. Heck, you and I will take on Eric and Randy! That is if they give us enough shots!

Just booked a trip for 6 guys to Woodlake GC in Tazewell, TN. Stay on site Friday night, playing all day Saturday, stay Saturday night and then get up and play again Sunday. Has anyone been down there? If not, it's a great place for a guys weekend getaway. They've got lodging/dining onsite so you never have to leave. The golf course is great as well. Played in an event where they took the two best scores from your foursome on each hole. I finished most holes, but not all of them. Hence the "around 78." Hope that's a sufficient answer.

You don't think he was all out the last 1/8 of a mile? Smith shook him up coming around the last turn pretty good. Also went to the left hand whip quite a bit down the stretch.

I played Saturday at Danville CC. I hadn't been there in quite some time. The place is awesome. Beautiful clubhouse, great staff and the golf course is terrific. They've put in a bluegrass/burmuda mix in their fairways and they are going to be awesome in a couple of years. As for my golf game; it wasn't too bad. Hit some good shots and made some putts. Iron game was a little shaky, but better than expected. Shot somewhere around 78.

I'm assuming there's no talk about this because everyone thinks it's the "Justify Invitational"? I don't have any argument, especially if it's sloppy. The question is, who gets second and third?

I'm headed to Danville CC Saturday to play in their Stag Day. It's been 10+ years since I've played down there. Really looking forward to it. I hear they've put in Bermuda fairways.

It's been 15 years or so since I've been there. Used to be awesome. Can't speak for it today though.

Well, we are two days away! Thought I'd bring this thread back up. Looks like weather could play a part in this year's KY Derby. There looks to be a handful or so horses that don't mind a muddy track. If it is an off track I really like My Boy Jack. If it's a fast track I like a combination of Audible, Good Magic and Mangnum Moon. I just can't bet a 5/2-3/1 shot, who is under Apollo's Curse (Justify) in a 20 horse field. I also like how Lone Sailor has looked in his works leading up to Saturday. Not sure if he can win, but might be worth a shot at putting in 2nd and 3rd in a trifecta. Good luck to all!

Busy weekend for sure. We will be heading to Louisville Friday morning and checking into the Marriott. I'm hoping we get to the track around 12:30 and we'll stay until the Oaks is finished. Friday night we'll be attending a couple of events. The first one is Unbridled Eve at the Galt House. Then we'll head over to the Omni for Junior Bridgeman's gala. Looks like the latter of the two will have a more star-studded lineup. Stevie Wonder tops it off. Sean "Puff Daddy/P Diddy" Combs will be throwing the after-party for that one as well. Saturday we will head back out to the track around 1:00. It's a lot, but we always have a great time.
