People will be coming out of the woodwork for this one I believe.
I'll be there. Not sure of the last time I was in The Fieldhouse.....
Looking forward to this one and the second game as well.
Just thought about this one; I was once part of a perfect game in slow pitch softball. I didn't pitch, but I was the second basemen. The game only lasted 4 innings due to run rules, but it was still quite impressive.
I believe the draw order is pre-determined, but I might be mistaken.
So if last year the order (by district) was 37-38-39-40, this year it would be 38-39-40-37.
Finally getting a chance to watch it.
When I saw the teams playing I thought the officiating crew would have been 3 guys I had never heard of. That's not the case. The guy that popped Boykins is Gerry Pollard. Pollard is a veteran official who has worked multiple Final Fours.
With that said, I don't get this call at all. My referee buddies asked if I saw the first technical. I said I hadn't but it didn't matter.
Terrible call by a veteran official. Too bad it cost Boykins.
Congratulations to Coach Listerman on an unbelievable career.
My earliest memories of high school basketball involve Coach Listerman while he was at Harrison Co.
Thanks for your time and dedication to Kentucky high school basketball.
Great to chat with you last night, as always.
You were a hit with my 9 year old too! Your treats were the first thing he talked about when we got home!
