Stipulation by WKU in the contract. Louisville had the same stipulation. Its common thing, plus I believe there are NCAA reasons for it as well.

Why is this a big deal? At that point, they are spectators and pay just like the common man or woman.

It's crazy that people are upset about this. It doesn't effect how Kentucky high school kids are recruited one bit. The coaches don't end up paying for the tickets in the grand scheme of things, nor do they pay for their travel expenses, etc.
