Well, the weather forecast has caused my event Sunday at Valhalla to be cancelled. They are trying to find a date in October to make it up. Hopefully that'll happen.

Played my own ball on Monday for the first time since July 16th. It was ugly. 85 at Houston Oaks. Weather permitting, I'm playing at Valhalla on Sunday. Hoping I hit it a little better. If I don't I could shoot a whole bunch!

He's been searching for high school jobs in the central KY area for a couple of years now. Interesting indeed. His resume is out of this world though!

Got to play in Jacob Tamme's event (Swings for Soldiers | Supporting American Heroes) at UClub of KY yesterday. Got a little wet, but still had a good time. Game was mediocre. I did make a couple of putts though.

Games for 2019/2020 Rec Bowl are set. Game 1 will be South Laurel vs. Boyd Co. Game 2 will be Montgomery Co. vs. Powell Co.

Coach Franklin lost his mom this morning. After beating cancer a couple of times, she lost a battle with dementia.

Finally tried the Windy Corner Cafe tonight after our swim meet at Lexington Country Club. Very cool place. I had the Windy Corner Burger and the wife had a shrimp Po-Boy. Both were great!

Played in the Cynthiana CC Joe Mooney Inv. this weekend. I shot +4 for the tournament (36 holes) and lost by 15 shots. Yes, 15 shots. I played pretty well with the exception of missing a one footer on Saturday and making a double bogey on Sunday. The golf course itself was great considering the amount of rain they received last week. Hats off to Superintendent Mike Lenox!
