Great showing for the Devils! The 16th has to be gaining some respect thru out the state. The teams that do not venture into Lexington and Louisville are really missing out on some great comp and great coverage by the major newspapers.

Its my guess that the Devils will handle Central pretty easy tomorrow and even if they dont the bullseye is clearly on the back of the Russellites.

Very few DIV teams in Ohio would be a top 4 or 5 team in any region in KY. Not trying to down grade Elliott but in watching Ohio bball for many years it just isnt the same as KY basketball. Unless of course your around Columbus, Cinn. or the Dayton area. Even then the better teams are the bigger schools. I also miss the days that Portsmouth used to put out top level teams. PHS was the most intimidating place in the area to play in back in the day.

I regret my posts on Kyle and his decision to leave. I will in the future focus my posts on the loyal players who want to be a part of the Rose Hill program. They are a blessed and couragous group of fine young men and do not deserve to have anything detract from thier dedication and fine work. Even though the score was not the outcome that most would have liked against Mason. The Royals saw first hand what a top program plays like, the speed of the game, and the composure that they will need to have to stay focused. Any night that you improve from is a good night. And the last time I checked there werent any Mason County's in the 16th region. The teams of this region are of equal quality and on any given night any one team can beat another team.

Bairs not the first kid or last kid to leave Rose Hill but yet we are right there still in the mix and getting better every day. Who knows the Hill might get a transfer or two or three in the near future who just want to get back to there roots.

I also wish Bair nothing but the best my post was directed at zonebusters comment that implyed Rose Hill lost because Bair left. Bair made his choice and IF he left to play football or baseball he may have made the right choice but if his dream if to get scholarship to play big time basketball (he told me this was his dream many times) he should have stayed at the Hill. I stand behind my first post on this subject. It is my opinion that the kid got some bad advice from someone close to him and now will have to live with it. I just hope the adult who pushed him to transfer can live with it.

Lets put things in perspective. The Royals were beaten by one of the few teams that have been there done that on the state level. The Royals started off the game great lost there composure and then rebounded to play a strong final 16 min. with Euton sitting on the bench. The Royals will be a strong player within the 16th region for this season and many to come. Yes they did miss Bair but what team wouldnt miss a 2 year starter but here is the Fact in the end Bair will miss Rose Hill more than Rose Hill will miss Bair. Lets not get to high or to low on any team right now. The War has only started and there are many battles to be fought between now and March.

Rose Hill will scrimmagae Mason Co. @ Harrisson County's panorama on the 18th of November and Jackson Co. in the KBA Showcase a week later.

The Rams will have the same type of season that they always have with Coach Johnson. They will play good D, be selective on offense, give better teams fits, and go about even on the wins and losses.

Its a typical home and home contract with the 1st game at Blazer then the following year at the Hill. And for those who were wondering Euton and Jackson will be in uniform and allowed to play. Rickyp will also be in the house.

I think the deal was that Dakotah can play but rickyp has to stay home. I talked with the coaches at the Hill and they have an opening.

Rickyp, Matt may flourish but can the rest of the tomcats keep up? I for one hope the football cats go DEEP in the playoffs! Can someone tell me how Coach Biggs and Coach Hart are getting along? Middleton will play the wing and is a knock down 3 point shooter. He has gotten bigger and stronger so they are expecting big things from him in the Greenhouse.
